Breathe

Another tear rolled down my cheek
"See this is what he used."
"Detective please remind us again, he made you have an orgasm with these correct?"

I rubbed my belly as I was forced to look at them.
"Mr. Fransniver please come up here"
I started to breathe more rapidly as he came up

As he put his hands on I started to cry silently I looked at Olivia and mouthed help to her.
"I'm sorry detective is he hurting you?, move down a little more.

I need my baby to be okay because I'm certainly not.
"Now  press on her belly right there. That's a baby that apparently you didn't help make."
I was still crying but this time shaking.
" Your Honor!!, objection!, clearly he's making her uncomfortable. She's crying!"

Okay I think we've had enough for now we will meet back here at 2:00pm.
When I heard the gavel bang I stood up
I was still traumatized and shaking when I walked to the restroom.
I was standing by the sink crying when Olivia walked in.
"Come here Amanda"
I went over still shaky and with tears still streaming down my face
" Why did you get upset in there?"
" Because he had Louis touch me. Touch my belly."
"I'm sorry that happened Rollins."
I wiped the tears off my face and was about to leave the bathroom when another wave of morning sickness came on.
"I hunched over the garbage can and vomited.

"Oh Looks like the jury has come to a verdict already"
" Come on Amanda"
I let Olivia lead me out of the bathroom and back into the courtroom
We sat down and we listened
Jury:
"On the count of rape we find the defendant guilty"
"And on all counts we find him guilty "
"Very well the jury has spoken, Defendant is remanded to rikers for life and bail is denied.
After that I felt like I could breathe a lot better. Now I had to worry about my baby and my morning sickness.
