How did this happen

Winding Down

I fast forwarded to around the time she was ready to give birth so hope you like:)
It was a Friday morning and I walked in to the precinct huge and well into my third trimester
I was round my due date so every day was a mystery for me
I sat down at my desk and felt my first contraction
"Yo Amanda you feeling okay?"
I plastered a fake smile and nodded
It was not until 20 minutes later when I was in the bathroom when a real hard one kicked in
I placed my hands on my belly and rubbed it with my right hand
My girl was coming soon
I look up and the door opens with Liv walking in
I smiled and pretended to wash my hands
Suddenly I felt a sharp pain
"Ahh"
"Liv walked out of the stall and washed her hands and then looked at me
"Amanda you okay?"
"Yep just cramp" I lied
As soon as she left I knew this was real
I better start timing my contractions.
Another sharp pain I sat down on the wall trying to breathe in and out
My girl was coming
It was time
"Ring, Ring"
(Olivia on phone)
"Benson."
"Olivia... "I was focusing on my breathing in between contractions
"Rollins is that you, Are you okay?"
"Ahhh" breathe, breathe
" Rollins what's happening?"
"I'm... In the... Bathroom...
"Contractions... 3 minutes apart..and.....
"Rollins what just happened"?
"Olivia!, Please come help.. In pain."
With that I hung up the phone and screamed in pain through a contraction looking down at the ground.
"Guys I'll be back!!"
"What's Happening Olivia?"
"Rollins just went into labor in the bathroom!"
"Stay calm I'm going to help her!"
Suddenly the bathroom door burst open and I wince in pain
"Amanda, how far apart are they?"
"Um like...Ow!"
"2 minutes"
"Okay we might not have time to get you to a hospital so we're gonna deliver here."
"I nod and suddenly a puddle of water emerges"
"Olivia?"
" Your water just broke its okay now.."
By that time I was already hot and sweaty and in a lot of pain
"Olivia..call Carisi.. Tell him our baby's coming and I need him"
Turns out we had just enough time to get to the hospital and they lay me down in a bed with Olivia holding my hand and Carisi dabbing my forehead and coaching me
"Come on Amanda you can do it"
"No I can't" I said breathing heavily
"Come on Rollins squeeze my hand and push!"
I screamed as I pushed
"Ahhhhhhhh"
"Good girl"
"Okay mrs Rollins I'm gonna need one more big push I can see the head!"
I screamed and squeezed Olivia's hand and I pushed as hard as I could and I heard a cry
I let my head fall back onto the pillow and let Olivia take care of me
"Congratulations You have a girl!"
They cleaned her up while Olivia wiped my head and stroked my face.
I smiled at Carisi and kissed him.
"Here you go"
I looked at the baby and she was such a beautiful baby girl.
"Hi baby, I'm your mommy and that's your daddy.
Carisi sat on the bed with me and we looked at her angelic face
"So guys any names yet"
I looked at Carisi then Olivia and smiled
"We might have one in mind"
"Spill it"
"Welcome to the world..Mackenzie Olivia Carisi"
I saw tears in Olivia's eyes as she smiled
"And one more thing"
Carisi brought Fin into the room.
"If anything happenes to us we named you guys as the god parents to take care of her."
Olivia bent down and hugged me and Fin smiled
"Can I hold my goddaughter?"
I nodded and let her take little Mackenzie
"Oh and about the name
"We named her Mackenzie as the first part because of my middle name
"Olivia after Liv who  helped me through the entire pregnancy"
"And we thought she should have Carisi as her last name"
Just then baby Mackenzie woke up and smiled at Liv
"Hi Sweet-Pea"
I held my arms out and we took our first family photo.
With Fin, Olivia, Carisi, Baby  Mackenzie and Me.
