Taking the stand

(I was in my 10th week of pregnancy and it the morning sickness wore off a little it wasn't as often but still frequent.
That's where I am now)
"Hey Rollins you ready to... "
"Liv..What?"
"Amanda you've started to show!"
"What no i can't show!"
"I'm supposed to go to trial today." I have to see Louis Fransniver, My rapist.
"It's okay Rollins breathe"
"I think I'm gonna be sick!."
I rushed to the girls bathroom where I threw up my breakfast burrito.
When I finished I came out trying not to panic.
The whole squad was going to testify in my defense.
I got my court clothes on and we drove to the courthouse.
Before I knew it the trial started
Everything was going well until Louis was brought in I tried to breathe in and out to keep myself from panicking.
I suddenly felt queasy again though
"Your honor may we take a 10 minute break please? I'm not feeling well"

When people get up I quickly run out of there holding my hand over my mouth as I ran

I had to run after her I knew she was gonna throw up. She thought her morning sickness subsided but it didn't at least not yet.
I got to the restroom and Olivia followed me pushing the door open. She quickly held my blonde hair out of the way and pat my back until I was done.
She helped me clean myself up and I started to cry.
"He's in there and I just can't handle it"
" ok sit next to me and I'll hold your hand to get through it."
I nod and we go back in the court room and sit down.
Next on the stand was Louis.
I breathed in and out and held Olivia's hand.
(Louis): ya that b****  got what she deserved and ya I tried to strangle her but I also have something to say

I put my hand on my stomach and started to cry silently.
Olivia and Carisi both noticed and they worked on getting me to breathe in and out.
I breathed but suddenly I felt really dizzy.
I threw up on my lap and passed out.

Carisi looks over and sees me passed out with vomit in my lap
Olivia quietly tries to get me to wake up without the judge noticing but it was too late.
"Is there a problem detective?"
"Um a minor one we need to get detective Rollins to a hospital or we need to get her to wake up."
I  woke up 10 minutes later really hot and sweaty
"Amanda your awake how do you feel?" I heard Carisi say to me
"Carisi look she's burning up"
"Your honor we need to get her to a hospital immediately"
Very well trial will proceed when the detective is feeling well enough to join us again.
Gavel bangs
Carisi call a bus
(Carisi on the phone with 911)
5 minutes later an ambulance arrives
I vomit again on the stretcher and I moan.
" Olivia....Please.."
"As the ambulance loads up Olivia hops in with me
On the way there I see her looking down at me and I point to my mouth and she traps a trash can I take the mask off and vomit into the trash can.
Then I dozed off
1:00pm
I woke up around 1:00 and I didn't feel so hot anymore.
All I felt was nausea from the pregnancy
"Guys" I whispered softly
"Hey.. Amanda your awake"
"Ya I feel better what did I get?"
"Fluids they said that you were dehydrated that's all."
"Oh okay"
2:30pm
It was around 2:30 that I got my discharge papers and was able to go back to the precinct.
When I got back I went to the restroom and looked in the mirror I felt proud of my baby bump.
The only thing was going back into that courtroom and taking the stand in front of Louis.
But I could do it

8:30am- (lawyer judge and Amanda talking)
"Hi detective"
"Good morning "
"Are you feeling better today?"
"Yes thank you"
"On what night did Mr. Fransniver rape you?"
"Monday night"
"And how did you know he was there?"
"I walked in to my apartment and there he was waiting for me."
"And what day did he come into your hospital room?"
"Tuesday afternoon"
"And what did he do to you?"
"He got on top of the bed... He beat me with a wooden bat.. And when I tried to cry for help... He taped my mouth shut.
" And going back to Monday night the night of the original attack, what did he do there"
" He raped me, He beat me, and he burned me with cigarettes."
"Is that all he did, or is there something else too?
I cleared my throat I really didn't want to talk about this.
"No that is not all he did something else as well, He used vibraters on me."

So Mr. Fransniver did not get you pregnant from the rape, correct?"
"Correct"
"Okay last part, evidence shows that you threw up at the crime scene, you also had to go to The hospital,..

"Detective how far along were you during the rape?"
"2 weeks"
"So was that morning sickness?"
"Yes"
"I noticed also that you have been trying to prevent yourself from throwing up on the stand as well,"
"Detective How far along are you now?"
"10 weeks"
"Ok so if I'm correct you start to show a bump.. Detective are you showing?"
"Yes"
"If you don't mind, please stand up to show the juror your bump.
I stood up breathing a little nervously
And..
Suddenly he came over and put his hands on my belly.
"This is your bump correct?"
A tear rolled down my cheek and I said "Yes"
"Now we found this pice of evidence from the crime scene"..
