Falling for Chris Lanzon

Chapter 5

Emma's P.O.V

When I get home I take off my converse and walk up to my room.
Mum and Lexi must be out since it was quite, this was a first because Lexi always seemed to be singing songs from 'Frozen'. I go onto Instagram for a couple of minutes, I get a text from Chris.

(E- Emma C- Chris)
C- What time did you want to meet at the park?
E- Ummm... Maybe at lunch then we can get fish and chips and take it back to the park to eat.
C- Okay... So 11:30?
E- Okay see you then

**next day**

I wake up at 9 and get up, I walk down to the kitchen to see mum cooking French toast. I take a seat at the island in the middle of the kitchen next to Lexi. Mum puts a plate in front of me with two slices of toast. I finish eating it and run up to my room I check the time on my phone. It says 10:00. I choose am outfit which consist of black Lacey sheets, white off the shoulder long sleeve crop top and my black vans. I go have a shower than change into my clothes, I blow-dry my hair and straighten it. I put on my normal everyday make-up which is just concealer and some mascara.
I check the time and it says 11:20, I grab my black penny board and skate to the park. I do a couple of laps of the park before Chris gets there.

"Hey Chris"
"Hey Emma" he says with that gorgeous smile of his, omg it just melts my heart.
"Let's go get some food" I say.
We both ride our penny boards to the fish and chip shop down the road. We just get some chips and a piece of fish each. We took it back down to park and sit on the lawn.
"Emma?" Chris says with a worried look on his face.
"Yes, Chris"
"We'll I-I would like you to be my g-girlfriend" he says stuttering a bit. I jump up and hug him. "I'll take that as yes then" he says smiling. We walk back to our house's hand in hand. When we get home I ask if he wants to come over. He says yes.

We walk inside. I walk over to my mum and introduce Chris to my mum. My mum looks him up and down. "Mum this is Chris my boyfriend, Chris this Jennifer my mum". "Hello Chris, very nice to meet you" my mum says."Nice to meet you too Ms. smith" he says shyly."Chris call me Jennifer" my mum says, she gives me a look to say he's a keeper. I grab Chris's hand and take him upstairs to my room. We sit down on my couch, we watch a movie on my TV. I fall asleep on Chris's chest. I wake up the next morning to the sun shining in my face. Chris had his arms wrapped around me. I lied their for a couple minutes, Chris woke up and kissed me. We both pull away and smile. He gets up and says "I better go home, see you later". "Okay, love you" I said then kissed him I had to stand on the top of my toes because of the height difference.

Stupid me went to the beach today didn't put suncream on and got sunburnt on my face and it's painful second sunburn and it's only spring...
