Chapter 33

Emma's P.O.V

**1 week later Emma's birthday**

I woke up this morning at 10am. Today my school happened to be closed lucky me. I grabbed my phone and checked the time to see it was 10am. My phone was full of birthday messages. I laid in bed replying to all the messages. After I had finished replying to all my messages I got up and went to have a shower. I got out after 20 minutes and dry off. I got changed into a black crop top and white denim shorts. I dried my hair, my hair was naturally straight but I still ran over it with a straightener. I chucked a vans cap on.

I walked downstairs and into the kitchen. Mum was in the kitchen making French toast. She knew it was my favourite. 'Hey mum'. 'Hey sweetie happy birthday' she said smiling while putting two slices of French toast on my plate in front  of me. 'Thanks mum' I say cutting up the bread. 'Wait here' she said running upstairs. I sat eating my French toast for about ten minutes then mum came downstairs with a smallish medium sized box and large box. 'Here are your presents' she said handing me the smallish box first. 'This one is from me and Lexi' she smiled. I unwrapped the box to see iPhone 6s plus written in the side of the box. 'Oh my god mum thank you so much' I said sitting the box on the table and running over to her and giving her a hug. I walked back over to my seat and continued to open the box. It was a rose gold one to. I turned it on and say it down on the bench. I got up and put my plate in the sink. 'Now this is your sisters present for you' mum said handing me the large box. I unwrapped it and opened the lid to see a Ted Baker suitcase. 'Oh my god I love it'. I toke the suitcase up to my room and then came back downstairs. I grabbed both my phones and went to the lounge room. I was sitting on the couch backing up my iPhone 5s so I could set up my 6s +. I was watching TV when I heard a knock on the door it was about 11:30am who would be here. I opened the door to see my friends. 'Oh my god hey guys' I said hugging them one by one. I toke them to the lounge room. We sat down on the floor. 'Happy birthday' they screamed at me as they sat bags in front of me. 'Oh my god thank you guys' I said picking up one bag. I grabbed a bag that was white with a black chevron print. It was from Katie and Ethan. 'Aww thanks guys' I said giving them a hug. I pulled out a Victoria's Secret Pink make up bag, it contained 2 EOS lip-balms, 4 Essie nail polishes, 4 lush bath bombs.'guys thank you so much' I said whilst grabbing another bag. I grabbed another bag it was a Victoria's Secret bag. I opened it to pull out something wrapped in pink tissue paper, I unwrapped it and saw a floral set of bikinis. 'Aww thanks babe' I said kidding him. I pulled out a white bag. Inside the white bag was a box. I opened it, it was a silver pandora braclet. It was beautiful it had 6 charms on it all ready. 'Chris you seriously didn't have' I say admiring the charms. There was an Eiffel Tower charm because I have always wanted to go to Paris. There was also a heart charm that said "I love you". There was charm that had a bow and heart dangling off it, a ballet slipper, another tiara charm with a heart connected on to it.
I kissed Chris another time and grabbed the last bag.
This bag was from Victoria's Secret Pink. I read the tag-
     "To Emma
        Enjoy your 18th birthday
        From Jakob"

'Thanks Jakob' I said giving him a hug. I opened and pulled a jumper. 'Jakob thank you so much I've been wanting to buy this jumper but could never find it'. 'Your welcome' he said. There was another tiny white box at the bottom of the bag it read "Pandora". I opened it, it was a charm for my pandora bracket that Chris gave me. It was the American flag in the shape of a love heart. I unclipped my bracelet and added it on.

By the time I had finished opening my presents from my friends my phone had finished backing up. I grabbed my 6s + and began to set it up. After about half an hour I had finished setting it up and we were all on the couch watching a movie. I checked the time it was 4pm. Katie got up and said 'we'll I better head home now and start getting ready for the party tonighT'. 'Okay' I said still snuggled into Chris's side.

Katie, Ethan and Jakob had left by now.
