Chapter 39

*2 weeks later*
Today I was going shopping for a prom dress with Katie. I knew this was going to be a long day. I got up and had a shower. Once I finished washing my hair I got out of the shower. I dried my hair and left it natural. I put on some natural makeup. I went to my wardrobe and choose my outfit for the day. My outfit consisted of
-black play suit
-white converse

I walked outside to Katie, who was beeping her horn. "Calm down" I say getting in the car. "We'll there's no time to waste" she replies. "True true" I say checking my phone.

We arrive at the mall. "Follow me" Katie says walking off. I run to her as she has walked off on me. We walk into a boutique. It was full of racks of dresses. A lady walks over to us "how may I help you two gorgeous girls today" she asks. We're looking for prom dresses" Katie says before I can answer. "Okay follow me" she says as she walks over to a section of the room. "What styles are you looking for" she asks us. "I'm looking for a black one" I say. She flicks through the dresses, pulling out some and resting them on my arms. After she gets about 15 dresses she sends me off to the dressing room.
Katie and the lady sit down on a couch while I change into a dress. I walk in and out of the dressing room with different dresses with them saying yes and nos. I walk out in my 12th dress. "Yes" they both say. We'll Katie practically screams. "We'll i do really like this one" I say twirling around and looking in the mirror. "I think that dress suits you very we'll miss" the lady says. "What she said" Katie says pointing at the lady. "Well then I'll take this one" I say smiling.

"Just let me go get my pins so I can alter the dress for you" the lady says walking off. I take a seat in the couch next to Katie. "I think I've tried on enough dresses to last me a lifetime". "We'll lucky you get to watch me then" she says. I stand up as I see the lady walking over.

She pins the dress to know where she needs to fix it. I walk back into the dressing room and slip out of the dress. I hang up the dress and place my clothes back on. I walk out of the dressing room handing the lady the dress. She takes it to what seems like her office and hangs it up.

I watch Katie try on her dresses till she finds one she likes. The lady pins the dress. And takes it to her office. We leave the boutique. We won't have to pay for the dresses until we pick them up. Which is in a couple of weeks time. Getting ready for prom is stressful but exciting at the same time if that's even possible.

Hey guys,
I'm actually like feeling really nervous because I have to sing and play guitar at my schools presentation night tomorrow. But I'm doing a duet with my friend. My arm really hurts because I was penny boarding in the dark on the road, I went to go down my drive way. But there's this rope in front of our drive way (it keeps the snakes out, it actually works too) and let's just say the pennyboard hit the rope, the pennyboard went out to the road and I went in the yard.
