Chapter 3

(A/N: Alright I dislike when people put in extra chapters with just an authors note so I'll put them at the beginning or end of a chapter unless i have to make a seperate page. First off THANK YOU! I never thought I'd get over 50 views in like a week EVER! Second of all, uploads maybe inconsistent with school yadda yadda, etc. So here's part 3)

*Y/N POV*

I opened my eyes to find myself in a huge bed- one not my own. I pulled my blanket close to my face in fear. Where was I? Was this Dark's house? A sudden boom of thunder scared me. Lightning flashed in the sky as rain pounded on the window. I squeaked in fear and threw my blanket over myself

"Rain, rain go away. Come again another day!" I sang to it hoping the song would work. More thunder boomed. I jumped off the bed and ran to the living room to try and find Dark or Anti. I found nobody out there. I shivered as the house shook from the thunder. The house was very scary at night. I heard a creaking and froze. thudding footsteps grew louder from down the hall. I hid behind the couch afraid

"Please go away Mr. Monster" I whispered and held my teddy bear close to me. I heard the footsteps get closer to me. A shadow loomed over me

"Kid what are you doing behind the couch?" I heard Mr. Anti say. I turned to see Mr. Anti staring at down me with his head tilted slightly to the side

"I-I'm scared of the thunder" I said shaking slightly at the sound

*Anti POV*

I never thought about the kid being afraid of something like thunder.

"Um...well kid it can't hurt you" I said trying to comfort him/her

Y/N looked out the window and shook his/her head "But that doesn't stop it from being scary"

I sighed and scratched my head. I knew nothing of how to take care of a kid, especially a scared one. I mean, I had fun being a monster in the closet and scaring kids...but comforting one? I have no idea

"Y/N what do you want me to do?" I asked him/her defeated

He/She looked up at me with fear in his/her eyes "Can we snuggle? Mommy would always snuggle with me when..."

The kid trailed off and looked at ground. My heart just shattered at the sight of him/her. The poor kid...I couldn't even imagine having everyone I cared about suddenly ripped away from me like that. It wasn't fair

"C'mon kiddo" I picked Y/N up and hugged him/her "I can stay with you"

Y/N's tiny arms wrapped around me as he/she clung tightly to me. I walked back with Y/N to his/her bedroom. As we were walking, another crash of thunder sounded. Y/N started to cry loudly and buried his/her face into my shoulder

"Shh...Shh I've got you. It's ok I wont let you get hurt kiddo" I shushed him/her. I opened the door to Y/N's room and walked to his/her bed, laying him/her down gently. Y/N blinked sleepily and smiled a little. I wiped tears off her/his face

"Don't cry little buddy, thunderstorms aren't all they think they are" I smiled down at him/her.

Y/N smiled back "OK Mr. Anti"

*Y/N POV*

Mr. Anti climbed in bed next to me and pulled the blanket over me, tucking me in like Mommy and Daddy would do

"Wait Mr. Anti! You have to close the closet door!" I pointed at it

He looked at me confused "Why on earth do we need to close it?"

"Well we don't want a monster coming in here and giving us nightmares" I told him worried

"Kid...there's no monsters in there" he said

"Mr. Anti how do you know if you don't look?" I asked

Anti got up and looked at the closet. He folded his arms and said "Alright Monsters, you better leave Y/N alone! Or else you have to deal with ME!"

There was silence. Anti turned and smiled "They're running scared. Mr. Dark and I are too scary for them Y/N. They won't be giving you nightmares anytime soon"

I giggled. Anti closed the closet and laid down next to me, tucking himself in

"Go to sleep kid. The rest of the world is asleep and you should be too" he said

I hugged him and whispered "Goodnight Mr. Anti. Sweet dreams"

He smiled and ruffled my hair "Sweet dreams to you too kiddo"
