Chapter 6

I woke up the next morning and walked out into the kitchen to see if Dark was up yet. I found him asleep on the couch. Or...was it him? It certainly looked like him. He had glasses on and the same dark hair. Something was different though...

"Mr. Dark?" I asked quietly. The man didn't seem to respond. I walked over to him

"Mr. Dark?" I asked again nudging him trying to wake him up

No response. I stared at him with curiosity. If this wasn't Dark...who was this? I let out a small sneeze. The guy opened his eyes slowly. I froze. This wasn't Dark. He had one blue eye and one red eye. He seemed to twitch into different expressions over and over. I couldn't tell if he was happy or sad or...what

He looked at me strangely. He sat up and folded his arms as if deep in thought

"Who the hell are you?" he asked calmly

"I-I'm Y/N...where's Mr. Dark?" I asked him

"Dark? Uhh...I dunno" he said crouching down in front of me. He poked me gently in the chest as if trying to see if I was real

"Um...kid why are you here?" he asked

*??? POV*

What the hell is this kid doing in a place like Raspy Hill? Doesn't he know how dangerous this place is?

"Mr. Dark took me with him after Mommy and Daddy wouldn't wake up" the kid said

"Oh..." I said picking up the kid "C'mon we can go find Dark for you"

"What's your name?" Y/N asked me

"I'm Glitchiplier" I replied

"Mr. Glitchiplier? Are you Mr. Dark's older brother?" he/she asked

I laughed "No I'm the younger brother. You can just call me Glitch. Everybody does"

*Y/N*

"Mr. Glitch? Have you been here the entire time?" I asked him

"No I got back last night" he moved me to his other arm to hold me better. I put my arms around his next

"Kid what happened before your Mommy and Daddy wouldn't wake up?" he asked walking to Dark's room

I shrugged "There was fireworks downstairs...then they stopped talking. Mommy hid me in the closet until Mr. Dark found me. Mommy and Daddy are with the Angels now..."

Glitch stopped walking

"Kid...oh my God. You poor little thing" he hugged me tightly suddenly "You're safe here I promise"

I hugged him back

"Oh hi Glitch. I see Y/N has found his/her way to you already" Dark came out of his room

"He/She sure is cute" Glitch said tapping my nose with his finger lightly. I giggled

"Dark could I talk to you...in private?" Glitch asked Dark

Dark nodded "Alright. Y/N Anti's up in his room if you want somebody"

I nodded and ran off to find him

*Dark*

"Dark...do you think it's such a good idea keeping a kid around us?" Glitch asked

I blinked "I see nothing wrong with it"

"You might not...but what about...him...?" Glitch raised his eyebrow at me

"Who?" I asked

"Dark you know exactly who I'm talking about" Glitch said

"Glitch he never stops by this place anyway" I folded my arms

"Well...it's close to Christmas...he'll stop by then. I just don't know if keeping the kid around him is such a good idea" Glitch said leaning on the doorway. He ran his hand through his hair and messed it up sighing. I patted his shoulder

"We'll worry about that when it's a problem. For now, Y/N is probably asking for chocolate chip pancakes or something" I chuckled

"This kid rocks" Glitch grinned and followed me out into the kitchen
