I shook my head as Jasmine told me about what was happening with Maddie and Craig

" like that shit's wrong and Maddie knows it , I don't know what's going through her head but she need to step back into reality " she rolled her eyes and sipped her cup

" are you suppose to be drinking that Jas ? " I asked looking at how low of Hennessy she had left

She shrugged and sighed

" you know you shouldn't let any of this affect you right ? especially because your close to having my niece " I said

" I know Jahde , but it's like how could I just ignore it , I mean it's my sister and my babydaddy , that's kinda hard to get over , ya know ? " she said and gulped some of her drink down

" okay stop " I said taking the cup and walking over to the sink

I heard her smack her lips and I chuckled pouring it out

" baby " I heard the front door open and I turned around

" yeah " she answered sighing

I smirked as August walked through the kitchen doors

" baby , why aren't you dressed ? " he asked looking at her attire

" ughh , I don't want to go " she whined and I laughed

August looked at me and I looked down before chuckling

" have you been drinking ? " he asked and she rolled her eyes

" I don't have time for this " she said pushing past him and walking out the kitchen

August sighed and pulled out his phone texting someone before shaking his head

" dammit " he cursed putting his phone back in his pocket

" where were you guys going ? " I asked concerned

" counseling " he said and I nodded

" we've been trying , well I've been trying to get her to go for the past week now , she keeps refusing and making up these excuses , but babygirl need the shit " he said looking down

I bit my lip and sighed

" August , it's going to take her a while to even want to really talk about , and if she does she has to drink " I motioned to the bottle of Hennessy sitting on the counter

" she needs help Jojo , I don't know , she don't want professionals to help her , I don't know what to do man " he shook his head and sat in the kitchen chair

I thought for a moment , knowing this would probably be the most ironic thing to do

I walked over to him and he looked up at me

" maybe she just needs to talk to Maddie , and see if they could work it out , because even if she talks to someone who majors in it , she won't be talking to someone who actually caused the major problem " I said grabbing my purse and taking my phone out

" think about it " I said before walking out the kitchen and out their house

I texted Dylan , letting him know I was heading home
