Bay: Are you excited, one more week till Austin gets home

Bay: *Answers it* Hello.....yes......yea.....how'd he get out.....really.....why.....oh my god...yea, thank you for letting me know...bye *Hangs up**Sighs*

Bay: Umm....got some news
Ally: It's not good is it
Bay: Not at all

Bay: It's about dad
Ally: *Worried* Is he out of jail
Bay: *Nods* Yea but that's not that bad part and please have some sympathy, he's still our dad
Ally: *Confused* Have sympathy for what?
Bay: Ally he's in the hospital, that's why he's not in jail
Ally: Why is he in the hospital
Bay: They didn't say exactly why, but they said he sick
Ally: Oh
Bay: If you don't want to, it's fine, we won't go, but do you want to see him

(At the hospital)
Ally, Bay: *Walks into Lester's room**Walks over to his bed* Dad
Lester: *Shocked, smiles* Hey girls, I'm surprised you actually came, I thought you wouldn't care
Bay: You're still our dad
Lester: Well, I'm not a great one
Bay: Well we heard you're sick
Ally: What do you have
Lester: *Looks at them**Sighs*
Ally: Dad what do you have
Lester: Cancer
Ally, Bay: *Shocked, sad, worried* Oh my god
Lester: Yea, lung cancer
Bay: Are you on chemo
Lester: *Shakes his head* Not anymore, I was for 6 months, but now there isn;t anything they can do, I'm dying, really soon
Bay, Ally: *Tears in their eyes*
Bay: How soon
Lester: They say this month, but I could die this week, you never know with these things
Ally: *Teary eyes* I'm sorry
Lester: *Shakes his head* Don't be, in a way I deserve because of what I've done to you girls
Bay: *Teary eyes* Don't say that
Lester: Well I just wanted to say goodbye
Ally: *Cries* We won't have a parent alive
Lester: I'm sorry
