(Lucy POV)
I ran away from my guild mates probably because i wanted to be alone after reading this.
The book was actually a story of E.N.D's life which was really sad
I walk through the forest and I hear someone say "The final battle is approaching. Soon I wont have to live in this horrid world anymore"
I follow the the sound of the voice, walking deeper into the forest.
I clutch the book of E.N.D's life force to me chest when I see who it is
"Zeref" I say
"Lucy Heartfilia" He says back
"What are you doing here?" I ask and he chuckled
"Where do you expect me to be?"
"I thought you were planning a war, shows me how much i know" i say
"Ill do that when the time comes"
"Which is?"
"Why did you even come here?"
"Why are you avoiding the question?"
"Why are you even talking to me?" When he asks this he brings his head up and looks me in the eyes
"Because I want to" I say as i lean against a tree as he sighs
"What are you going to do with the book?"
"Not let anyone touch it" I say as he looks at me a little surprised
"Your not killing END?"
"You want me to?"
"No.."
"Good cause ill never do it" He chuckles a little at this
"Oh by the way, I only canceled out the magic for a day, you'll have it back tomorrow." I nodded, understanding what he meant. One last thing about the book."
"What?"
" Never loose it. Never let anyone harm it and keep it safe." He stands up and smiles at me "I trust you" and he disappear
Did he really just say he trusted me?
