Grande Magic Games [8]

"Everyone," Mato announced to the audience, "Due to Fairy Tail only having three members, they're adding the other two members."
Taking spread like wildfire into the crowds.
"The members are, Natsu Dragneel and Gajeel Redfox."
The talking turned to cheers for the two members.
"Now, for the third day of the Grande Magic Games, there will be battle match ups." Mato explained. "First match will be Fairy Tail's Lucy Heartfillia and Natsu Dragneel, VS Sabertooth's Sting Elffice, and Rouge Cherny."
"Good luck, Lucy, Natsu." Erza said to the duo.
"Knock 'em dead." Gray said to Natsu.
"Let your return be worth something." Gajeel muttered.
Lucy and Natsu nodded to them.
"We'll do our best." The duo walked out into the arena.
Cheering could be heard clearly, half of the crowd of Fairy Tail and half for Sabertooth.
But Lucy could make one voice out from all of them, startled, she looked in the direction of the voice.
Standing out in the crowd, was the family that had helped her when she broke her leg.
Lucy smiled, turning to Natsu.
"Let's do this."
"Yeah."
"Aaaaaaaaaand BEGIN!"
Sting and Rouge charged forward at Mato's call.
"Open! Gate of the Golden Bull, Taraus!" Lucy chanted, as a bull appeared from thin air, intercepting Rouge's attack.
"Shadow Dragons Roar!"
"I will do it for you Lucy! Moooo."
The two attacks collided, but Rogue was too strong for Taraus, sending him flying back and almost hitting Natsu, who was in the middle of battling Sting.
Lucy sighed slightly, That was short.
Rogue waited for a moment. As if to see if she would do anything.
"Alright." Lucy started, "Fair play. Let's actually fight this time."
Lucy clapped her hands, "Copy: Erza: Blue Swordsman."
Just like when they were fighting the Demons, her outfit changed.
Rogue looked shocked for a moment, before snapping out of it and becoming battle-ready.
"Shadow Dragons Roar!"
     "Elemental Master: Iron Wall!"
     A wall shot up and intercepted the attack.
     Rogue turned into a shadow, blending into the surroundings.
     Lucy looked around, trying to pinpoint his location.
     Rogue's shadow appeared behind her, as he used his "shadow dragons iron fist" on her.
     Lucy was sent flying forward from the hit.
     Lucy struck her feet on the ground, then pushing her body up, causing her to do a mid-air flip, and landing on her shoes.
"That actually hurt." She complained as she straightened her back. Then looked around, not seeing Rogue anywhere.
She closed her eyes, trying to sense his presence.
Moments later, in a flash, she felt him next to her.
Instantly, Lucy shot to her side, "Celestial Flame!"
An explosion occurred next to her, Rogue appearing after the explosion happened. Obviously injured.
     Rogue turned into a shadow, pretending as if the blow didn't hurt him.
     He started throwing punches and kicks, but Lucy dodged all of them, then accidentally backing up into Natsu.
Lucy grabbed Natsu's arm and pulled him away from Rogue's next attack.
"Luce what the heck?!"
"You're welcome, Flame Breath."

(Okay, we all know that even Gray laughed at that insult)

"Why you—!"
He didn't get to finish his sentence before Lucy shoved him to the side and jumped out of the way from Sting's breath attack.
"Pay attention!"
While muttering words under his breath, Natsu stood up again, focusing on the fight.
"Can you cover me for a minute?" Lucy asked him.
"Fine."
Natsu stood protectively in front of Lucy, blocking and countering the bombarding attacks that came their way.
Lucy racked her brain, calming herself. She'd practiced this after Natsu's welcome back party. Of course, Natsu was pissed at her for getting home so late and scaring the day lights out of him.
Lucy clasped her hands together in a praying position, immense magic power surrounding her.
"Ruler of magic,
Head my request,"
The bright blue sky started to turn to a dark black color.
"Shine light on the darkness,
And darkness on light,"
The stars started to show through the pitch black sky, shinning brightly.
"Reverse the power,
And release the energy,"
Golden lines started to connect the stars, making the whole sky turn golden.
"Nights starry sky,"
Lucy held her position, as the golden light started to turn to a fiery red, kind of like the 'Celestial Fire's Demon Constellation' spell, but much brighter and bigger. 
     "RELEASE!" As soon as she yelled that word, she ran to Natsu and grabbed his arm, seconds after, the whole arena was a red pillar of light.
     When the light died down, the twin dragons were down, while Natsu and Lucy were standing, well, Lucy was barley standing, but she was using Natsu's hand for help. It didn't seem like anyone besides Natsu had noticed that, though.
     When the cheers died down in the stadium, the duo left the arena
     "You okay?" He whispered to her.
     She only gave him a smile in response, "Yep."
      But her words were in vein when she passed out.
