Jace's pov
It's been three years since I've seen my daughter. Damn I miss her. I have been getting letters from the clave notifying me that she is all right. They have told me how good of a trainer she is and that all of the kids love her. Tomorrow is her birthday, she will be 19. I'm glad she gets to come home today.

Jace's pov
We were all in the library waiting on Ash to get here. A portal opened up in a blue flash of swirling light and out came Ash. She has changed a lot. Her hair has gotten longer and looks way more built. "What?" She asked. "You guys are staring at me, stop that's weird." She said setting her bags down. I stood up and hugged her. "Damn Ash your almost taller than me. What are you six feet tall?" I asked. "Yes actually I am." She said. She hugged Clary and everyone else then went to her room to her room to unpack her things.
In the kitchen
Ash's pov
I walked into the kitchen to find everyone eating. "Clary didn't cook so find what you want in the cabinets." Dad said. I went into the kitchen and looked in the fridge for the to go box with spaghetti in it. This is really going to piss dad off. I put the spaghetti onto a plate and popped it into the microwave. I walked over to the drawer and got a fork and I heard the beeping sound of the microwave. I walked out of the kitchen and sat by Jem which was right in front of my dad. He seen what was on my plate and his mouth dropped. "How do you always find spaghetti?" He asked in awe. "I have my ways, no actually I tell mom to go and get me some from the Italian restaurant down town." I said smirking. He mocked me with a smart face and squinted eyes. I stuck my tongue out at him with a grin on my face.
