Chapter 11

Allison's POV:

"Zander?" I asked above a whisper. I had just woken up and I recall everything that happened. Honestly I'm scared and I would really love it if Zander can fill me in on what this chaos is.

"Allison, your awake." Zander said relieved.

I only heard his voice the room was dark and the only light that was provided was by a light under the door above the stairs and a small window that was placed near the ceiling of the wall providing moon light. And neither of those two were bright.

"Zander where are you?" I asked scared

"I'm right here, everything is going to be fine." Zander said walking towards me and sitting down next to me.

"What happened?" I asked

"War." Was all Zander said pulling me close to him gently.

I laid my head down on his chest. War War War that wicked three lettered word kept popping up into my mind.

"We need to get out of here." I spoke standing up on both my feet looking around the room.

"Already checked nothing will work, I managed to gather a few useful supplies though just incase." Zander said standing up next to me.

"What about the window?" I asked.

"To small plus you can't break it. It's secured. And has an alarm." Zander informed.

"Any vents?" I asked "nothing." Zander said shaking his head.

"What if we just walk through that door and sneak out." I suggested

"Allison, Lets just sit down and rest a way out will come soon, let's get information we know together first." Zander said taking my hands and sitting me down on the floor.

"Okay your right." I agreed.There was silence and I hated it. Dozen of questions kept popping into my mind. Like most of all where are we, who took us, why did they take us and is there anyone trying to find us?

"Zander I'm scared." I admitted

"I know, lets just get through this together, listen when you were knocked out they dragged me with you I saw where they took us we are in the woods in a cabin. It's a couple of miles away from our tree house." Zander explained.

"The. We can make a run for it." I said excited.

"You don't understand anywhere we go there's going to be war. People fighting,shooting, death. We might be better off here once we get more information from those guys." Zander said once again.

"Well go make them believe your on their side. Then come back for me." I said as if it was simple.

"I don't want to leave you, what if I go up there say I'm on their side then they use me to hurt you?" Zander questioned.

"Zander we have to get out of here, and I can take a hit for the team, it will be nothing I know it's not you hurting me." I said softly to him.

"Okay, but when we get out of here, I need to make this up to you" He said

"Okay now go." I said pushing him towards the light.

"Wait, Allison." he said

"What is its?" I asked Zander turned around and stared at me. His state was long and I can see so much emotion, but his eyes showed he was overall scared.

"I love you." Zander said placing one of his hand on my cheek.

"I love you too." I said smiling at him

"No I mean I love you more than a friend should. Allison I might never see you again I need to do this." Zander said

"What do you...." I then was caught off by Zander pushing his lips against mine. I gave into the kiss. I didn't know what I was feeling. Zander pulled away.

"I got to go." He said placing on last kiss in my lips.

I was speechless as I saw Zander walk up the stairs I wanted to say something but nothing came out. And before you know it Zander had reached the top of the stairs knocked on the door. I watched the door creak open then saw Zander be pulled away. Once the door closed I heard multiple locks from the door. I was all alone, scared and I had no idea what to do.
