I had been talking to my Mother for fifteen minutes now, reason for this, she told me all the parents were 'too old' and she 'needed company'.

"I bet somethings going on with Danny and Vera," Mom spoke, smoothly raising her finger to their direction then rubbing her nose.

"Where's your husband?" I smiled widely.

"He said he's coming at 4,"

"Oh look at that," I said raising her watch to show the three minutes past the hour he said he was going to be here.

"You're annoying,"

"But you're still here," I hugged her from the side as she tried to get out of my hold, we fell into a fit of laughs and spotted a few people staring.

"That one that Heidi is with, he's cute, so is that tall one," My Mom nodded to their direction, seeing Jordan and Jon having a conversation with Heidi and Camila.

Jordan stopped staring at me a little while after he was around Heidi. I notice how he keeps touching her. He puts his hand on her shoulder, squeezes her hand every time they laugh and at one point wrapped his arm around her.

"Hey, what's the matter?" Mom takes me away from my thoughts and staring at their small gestures. It reminds myself of Scott yet again and I ask myself why I'm getting so worked up about a boy I've never met.

"No yeah, just blacked out for a second," I said too quickly, causing her to look at me like she knows I'm hiding something. "Dad, you made it," I saw my Dad walking to our direction, perfect timing to dodge my Mom's endless questions. I hugged him hello and was about to leave before Mom spoke.

"I saw the look Cindy, jealousy," She held out the last word for few seconds in a young teenage girl voice.

"Clearly Mom, that's exactly what it is!" I scrunched my nose up with a fake smirk whilst nodding my head, sarcasm evident. I waved goodbye and started to walk to Joe, who was with Chelsea but I'm really not going to where he is.

"Hi Chelsea," I greeted her in a the fraudulent voice, exaggerating her name with a large smile on my face.

"Cindy," She held the exact same tone I spoke, both of us looking to Joe and Matty who had already felt uncomfortable from the sudden spurge of tension. "Where has Scott been?" Of course, the obvious question that seems to attract everyone for my answer.

"Oh Scott's been away visiting family, but he's coming back soon," Matty answered for me. I returned him a smile and mouthed a thank you.

"Oh there's food, do you want me to get you a plate?" Joe asked Chelsea.

"Yeah, that would be great, thank you," She portrayed herself as a sweet soul, but, I'd have to rid of my memory if Joe was buying it.

"Well I'm going to the bathroom, could you get me a plate," Matty gave in and walked to Joe.

As I almost reached the bathroom I saw Camila in the kitchen grabbing napkins.

"Hey, are you and Joe okay?" I asked causing her too jump back a bit in fright. She laughed then soon her soft features dropped into an upset and annoyed expression. I saw her look behind me then right down to the floor. I looked up and saw Andrew with sincerity in his eyes. She started to walk a fast pace out of the kitchen and into the dining room where Andrew called and followed. What was going on?

I walked to the bathroom in the hallway and knocked to see if it was occupied. After a short pause I opened the door and walked in, turning on the light and closing the door. As I was washing my hands the door heard a hard tap that delayed my reply.
