I remember when I first learned of the middle finger...
*don't worry I keep things rated pg13 at tops!*
I was in 3rd grade and I was playing with my hands and I stuck up my middle finger. My friend saw me, gasped and said,
"Don't point your finger up like that! It means that you hate God!"
"So point your finger down, that means you hate the devil."
So I walked around the school with my finger pointed down and all the adults where all gasping. I smiled and said,
"Don't worry guys I hate the devil"
FYI kids don't point your finger up or down it means VERY BAD THINGS!!! lol I wonder if god was laughing or shaking his head in shame :)
