As the portal spit them out they landed on the sweet soft grass with the smell of fire in the air. Sepharine helped Alexandra to get up and clean up before they officially entered the ceremony as a small token of appreciation for the time that she saved her life.

"A lot of people don't do that you know?" Alexandra whispered.

"Do what?"

"Thank me."

Sepharine threw her hair up and winked as a sign that she really meant her apology which made Alexandra smile. Nobody besides Carter and now Sepharine had thanked her for the many times she saved their lives because they were scared. Scared of what she was able to do. Scared of her prophecy of the one she was following and the one the bees were buzzing about, she was the reason the world was either going to be saved or the reason the world would fall and all people with it. Even the Elders feared her prophecy and it didn't matter how hard she tried to convince people of the fact that her heart was good they still feared for their lives every time she passed by.

"I think you're good now," Sepharine said while clearing her hair of grass and mud.

"Thank you," she said softly as if she had never said those words before.

"No problem, but like I said there's time to catch up later, we have a ceremony to attend."

As they walked on the bees started buzzing, as a signal to the Elders that the last of the invited had arrived. Alexandra bit her lip to hold her tears within her and to control her sadness. Normally she wasn't like this, a funeral happened, not often because of the fact that they were invulnerable but it happened. Mostly to younglings or the ones that didn't survived the first bee swarming inside them. But this time it was one of the older ones. Her teacher, Minostrus.

She held on to Sepharines' hand tightly and looked around for Carter who was trying to cover the fact that he was crying too. Their eyes met for one moment and they felt the same thing, he was gone, it was done and the first thing in the prophecy had happened. The time of Darkness was coming closer and the only thing that held Alexandra on was the fact that Sepharine was back, eventhough she still kind of hated her and the fact that Carter was here, which comforted her.

"Hello everyone," one of the Elders said, he was wearing a red robe which had directly drawn all the attention to him since everyone else was wearing black.

"This is a sad day, not only because we have lost a good friend, a great master and to some of us a worthy companion, but because today we have also lost family,"

"Today we say goodbye to you, Minostrus Acclain, under the brightest of full moons, be free old friend, find your path to the gates of heaven and be free." He said trying to fight his emotions but his watery eyes explained how everyone felt.

"You've guided us through many lights, may we guide you now to the last one, I would like everyone to bury their grudges with each other within the sand of this earth," he paused to look at everyone around him.

"His final wish was that if he should die, that we would accept each other for what we are, that we today, rise up as new people, forget our past because it will be laid here in the ground with him and be cast into the sky as the carriers fly his spirit away to his next destination."

"Amen." Everyone said.

Some were crying, some were just staring at the casket like it was something wonderful, but they all felt the same thing as it lighted up blue, a feeling of peace and hope. Even Alexandra who was feared by everyone felt nothing but peace and joy. Because that way her teacher, he was the ultimate form of peace, he was acceptance and joy itself.
