Annabeth POV:
I slashed me dagger through the monster turning it in to dust, as I finished I heard a scream coming from behind me. I turned  to see Percy on the ground blood gushing from his side, pain written on his face.

   "Percy!" I yell quickly dashing over to him. I lean down trying to put pressure on his wound but it's not helping and it's still gushing blood. "Percy just hold, come on seaweed brain you'll be fine." I say tears falling.

"SOMEONE HELP!" I yell but I know it won't help its to loud to here over I'll the fighting and by the time I got help he would've bled out. But I know I have to do something so I hold on to him. "Annabeth I love you." He says painfully. "And I always will but just promise me you'll take care of yourself and to move on please? Promise me." He says. I gasp.

   "No Percy I can't I love you to much." I tell him tears pouring out. I lean down and kiss him one last time feeling his final breath. "I love you Annabeth." He says eyes closing a small smile on his face, staring right at me.

   I start sobbing. Why, why him why couldn't it be me not him. I feel I hand on my shoulder. Looking up I see Piper crying. Then I look around and see everyone crying and bruised up.

   "Come on Annabeth lets get you cleaned up." Piper says trying not to break now for my sake. "No I can't leave." I cry out as she pulls me up. I pull away look up at the sky and yell "WHY WHY ME WHY HIM AFTER ILL WE HAVE DONE FOR YOU WHY!"

   I screamed at the sky not caring if I get in trouble for it. I fall down next to Percy hugging him mad crying. It had to be us just as we finally ended the war, after getting out of Tartarus. I should have known we would have never got our happy ending. "I love you seaweed brain, forever."
