Bad News

Percy POV:
Annabeth pushed me against the wall her knife at my throat smiling at me. "I win." She states.

  "I'll get you next time." I say as we walk towards the dining pavilion.

  "Sure Seaweed Brain sure." She laughs. We grab our food and then go sit at our tables. A few minutes later after making faces at each other from the other sides of the room Chiron comes up to me in horse form.

  "Percy I have some very bad news. It's about your mother." He says sadly.

  "What about her?" I say starting to panic.

  "She's been murdered." He says. Gone. She's gone. I'll never get to see her again. I'll never get to say goodbye. I'll never get to say I love her. She'll never get to see my kids or see me get married. Never. She's gone. As all those thoughts go through my mind I realize that I'm crying. I look up and see everyone looking at me.

Annabeth POV:
I see Chiron tell Percy something and his face turns white. And then he's crying. That's not like him at all. He's our leader. Something bad must of happened. By the time I get to him he's full on sobbing and everyone's watching. I wrap my arms around him pulling him close. He does too putting his head in the crook of my neck. "I'm here. Percy I'm right here. Okay? We're together.
 
  Whatever it is we'll be alright. Shhhh" I wisper in his ear. Now everyone is worried. I can see Hazel holding on to Frank and Piper and Jason doing the same. And Leo and Grover are there too, worried like everyone else. "Percy let's go to you're cabin and talk okay?"I ask.

  He nods into my neck. I help him stand up having him lean most of his wait on me. He's heavier than he looks. I kiss his forehead and tell him we're together and we can get through anything together because I know we can.
