You Forgot Something

"Mommy!" I hear my 4 year old daughter say. "What is sweetie?" I ask. "I think daddy forgot his school folder again." She says. "Well how about we go drop it off on daddy's break?" I ask. He always forget his stuff. "Yay I get to see daddy at work!" She yells excitedly.

  She has shoulder long blonde hair like mine and sea green eyes like her father's. She likes to read books and learn all the time like me but is always getting in to trouble like her father. "Go get ready sweetheart." I say as she runs of. Five minutes later we're off.

  Percy doesn't like me driving or going without him places because I'm almost five months pregnant but he's just over protective. We pull up to the school where he works as a Greek history teacher. I work as an architecture builder but I'm currently on break because I'm pregnant. I unlock the door so I can go get Mia from the backseat.

  "Ready to see daddy?" I ask. "Yes!" She says. "Alright." We enter the building and walk torwards the office. "Hello." I say. She looks up at me and smiles. "What can I help you with?" She ask. "Can I drop something off at Mr. Jackson's office please I'm his wife and he forgot his folder?" I say.

  "Yes you can and here's the visiting sticker, please write your name in it. Oh and do you want one to young lady?" She asks Mia. "Yes please." I grab her one write her name down. "Here you go sweetie, put it on your shirt." I say. She does.
  We start walking to his room. When I get there the doors closed so I knock. I can hear him yell come in so I open the door. When he see's me he smiles. "Alright class do page fifty five while I talk with someone." He tells the class they all stop staring and get to work.

  "Daddy!" Mia says and runs up to him, when she does Percy picks her up and spins her around. Hey, sweetie how are doing did you have a good day with mommy?" He asks. "Yep we went to the store, then got ice cream and then I found your folder on your desk and told momma and she took us to see you! I missed you daddy." She says and then puts her arms around him and hugs him.
 
  He hugs her back and puts her down and comes over to me, I hold out the folder. "You forgot something I say. He walks over and kisses me on the forehead while taking the folder. "Thanks, so how's peanut doing?" He asks. "Kicking like always, I guess he's gonna be a trouble maker like his daddy." I say.

  "Haha, what did you two do today?" He asks while Mia jumps up onto his lap. "Well she told you we went to the store and got ice cream but before that we play with her barbies and I read her a book then she fell asleep. While she slept I cleaned the dishes, did the laundry, and took a small nap myself." I tell him.
 
  "Well that sounds fun. Did you have fun today Mia?" He asks Mia. "Ya mommys always fun to be with except when she gets crabby and needs to take a nap." She says. Percy laughs while I scold her in a joking voice. "Well I don't want you to go but the kids are probably gonna be done soon so I'll see in three hours, love you" and kisses me on the cheek since we're still in front of the kids.

  "Love you to, Mia say goodbye we have to go now." I tell Mia . "But I don't wanna leave." She says. "Hey don't worry I'll be home later and then we'll go to grandma Sally's, doesn't that sound fun?" He ask her. "Yay I get to eat lots of blue cookies!" She says.

  "Alright let's get going sweetie." I say as I take her hand. "Bye daddy, love you." "Love you both too." He says as we leave. "Well we better get home so we can get ready for grandmas." I say
