Sabrina ~
A lot has happened in the last week. I haven't talked to Dallas, Grey, Tate, or Alice. I've made a few new friends. Well one friend, her name is Alex, she's really great. She knows everything and she understands what I've been through. We're really close and its nice to have someone to talk to until I get home. "I'm not sure Rue." My dad's voice was worried and I knew it was her. "Dad?" He looked up from the papers on the marble island he was sitting infront of, he moved the phone down past his mouth, "hey honey, how was school?" I put my bookbag on the floor by the fridge, "is that Rue?" Rue was my mother, since she found out we'd moved in she calls, Jo talks to her, I don't. "Yeah, do you want to talk to her?" I shook my head, "you know they only let you on the phone for so long in prison." I heard mumbling on the other end. "She really wants to talk to you." I grabbed my bag and slung it over my shoulder, "no, but I'll send crack money on Christmas." I smiled sarcastically, "she has homework." I walked out of the room without another word, "you don't have to be so rude." Jo followed me as I walked up the stairs, "I have nothing for her." I opened my bedroom door and allowed him to come in, "I know youre mad, but she's different now" I rolled my eyes, "of course she is, you can't get meth in prison." I felt bad for him, he would never understand just how bad she was, "talk to her next time she calls, for me please Sabrina." His big doe brown eyes were so hard to say no to, "fine but only for you." He smiled, "thank you bug" I nodded, "you're welcome." He walked out with all smiles, "SABRINA" I groaned loudly, "Father!" I could hear his boots stomping up the stairs and I watched my door swing open, "why?" I shrugged, "I don't trust her and you know it." He pulled the rolling chair from my desk and sat down in it, "but you have to play nice at least" I rolled my eyes, "I'll speak to her, but I refuse to pretend like everything is okay. I will not lie to her and I won't let her pretend she loves us." He shook his head looking at his feet, "you're so stubborn, smart but stubborn." I nodded, "I know, and you can't change my mind about this" he smiled with half his mouth before he pursed his lips, "I know, but you will visit her."
"He's making you visit her in prison?" Telling alex pretty much went down immediately, plus she's an open book, "yup, he said she was gonna get out soon and because I don't want her near me when she does I need to be honest with her and tell her goodbye." Alex rolled her eyes and laughed, "wow, it's her fault you hate her anyways. She doesn't even deserve the truth, in my opinion" she was right, but there isn't a way out of this. "I know, but I've got no choice." She flipped her curly black hair over her shoulder, "that's what stucks about being a teenager so much opinion no power over the final decision. Shouldn't it be your choice, she is your mom." I shrugged, "but it isn't so." She stopped at the door of my history class, "have fun." I stuck my tounge out at her and she smiled walking away as I walked to my desk. Next to Tate, behind Grey, across from to the back left of Alice, "hey Sabrina" I watched Tate stare at me in curiosity, "hey Alice." she sat up in pride, "okay class today we're talking about Rome." Wow he speaks! Everyone looked shocked at the old man actually standing for once in the front of the room. "Ms. Santana, tell me what you know about Rome" all eyes turned to me as I looked up, "uh, the early Romans made a republic, it grew powerful and spread is influence. Then it became an empire, its government, society, and economic culture changed. Christianity rose, the empire was weakened by internal problems, it divided and eventually fell." He nodded his head looking semi impressed, "youre right, but we're going into a little more detail. Take notes." That's when I zoned out
"Your last name is Santana?" I nodded at Grey and sped up hinting that I didn't want to talk to her, "got any siblings?" I nodded again, "two brothers." She matched my pace, "what are their names?" Get out of my face, "Joseph Lee and Devin Jacob" she nodded, "what's your middle name?" I groaned, "sethalee" she stopped in her tracks and I took the opportunity to run for it.
