Meet and Greet

Prologue

My name is Emily, and I'm not really what you call a 'girly girl'. I love to play sports, only really only have one good girlfriend, and the rest of my friends are the guys on the football team. I don't care about the normal teenage girl like obsessing over boys or making sure my hair is just perfect in the morning. Heck I could come to school in sweatpants and a sweatshirt for all I care. 

Well that's me for you. Oh but one more thing...

I hate boybands.

Chapter 1

"No wait dude I dare you to go burp in Madison's face!" Tom yelled at me. Madison was the most popular girl in school and all the guys know I hated her. 

"Okay I'll do it. Any time anywhere." I replied with a smirk.

I took a huge swig of my Diet Coke, because everyone knows that Diet Coke is the best fuel for burps, and walked over to where all of the popular girls sit. One of the popular girls happens to be my best friend, Mackenzie. When she see's me coming she shifts to make room for me at the table then smiles and waves me over there. 

I can feel the burp working its way up in my stomach. 

It seemed like they were all talking about One Direction. Yuck. 

"Hello everyone. I just came over because I have a question for Madison from Max." I said. When I said that, Madison's eyes lightened up and turned towards me. Max was the captain of the football team and like my second best friend. Also, Madison had the biggest crush on him. 

"What is it?" She asked.

"Well it's just that he wanted to ask you if you would," I said until I interrupted myself with a big burp right into Madison's face! 

"Ew that is so nasty! Get away from me!" She yelled at me.

"My pleasure." I said running back to the guys.

The boys were laughing so hard. I when I got to the table all of the guys were mimicking Madison.

"Ew that is so nasty!" Henry said in a high pitched voice.

"Get away from me!" Max said in a squeaky voice.

Once we were all done making fun of Madison, Mackenzie walked over laughing.

"What was that all about?" She giggled.

"Tom dared me to go burp in Madison's face!" I said.

She laughed then asked to sit with us because it was way more fun. The rest of lunch consisted of daring people to do stupid things and making fun of Madison. When it was over, Mackenzie, Max, and I walked to our next class together which was band. 

Ya I know. Band geeks coming through. 

When we walked into class all of the girls in there started to drool over Max like they do every single day.

When Band was over I went to my next class and the next couple periods went by really fast. At the end of the school day, I met up with Mackenzie, Max, and Tom. It's very convenient that we all live on the same street. 

We all walked back to Mackenzie's house and crashed on her couch.

"Okay guys. You all know what today is right?" Mackenzie asked.

"The day that One Direction tickets go on sale." We all said in a monotoned voice.

"And what time is it at?" She asked again.
