Meet and Greet
Chapter 2
Since Mackenzie won the tickets I swear I have become more popular. Everyday in the school hallway I we have girls running up to us and chattering on and on about one direction. It's getting quite annoying. But the funny thing is that they are all completely obsessed with one if the boys. I think his name is something like Tarry Stoles. But I don't care. I was never good with names.
Normally Mackenzie and I sit outside with a couple of my guy friends but now all of the Directioners sit with us.
"So are you guys like totally siked to meet One Direction!?" Jamie asked.
"Haha duh! I can't wait!" Mackenzie said.
All of the girls laughed and nodded in response. After they were finished, they turned to me.
"Eh not really. I've just heard that they have really good food at meet and greets." I muttered.
Everyone just gazed at me while Mackenzie burst out laughing. After a couple of moments of silence, one of the girls speaks up.
"I can take her ticket, Mackenzie! I love One Direction!" She said. That's when the riot started.
Everyone started screaming and trying to win my ticket off of Mackenzie. I was just laying back in my chair becoming amused by all of this. I really was enjoying this. After a couple of minutes of watching them all struggle, I walked up to Tom and Max and asked them if they can help break up the yelling and screaming.
"Ladies, ladies, who needs those snobby 1D boys when you can have all of this?" Tom said getting all of the girls attention while moving his hands up and down his body. After about 10 seconds of silence all of the girls burst out laughing. Tom looked embarrassed. Even if a guy is on the soccer team, doesn't mean that you automatically attractive. I mean, Tom is cute but not, as the girls would say these days, hot.
I walked up and patted him on the back. "It's okay, bro. I feel you. I feel you." I said, trying my best to be comforting. Tom just brushed it off and went back to smiling and laughing with Max.
After all the girls calmed down, Mackenzie spoke up.
"Ladies, I'm sorry but I'm going with Emily and that's the end of it. I want her to try to make her more girly!" She said.
"You can't change me!" I yelled at Mackenzie but she just replied with a smirk. A very awkward silence fell upon our lunch table. It seemed like everyone was just staring at me. I had to break the quietness. Or at least someone had to. I looked over to Max for help. He understood what I was trying to tell him.
"So guys, are you ready for the big football game?" Max said a little disquieting.
They all looked at him with questioning looks.
"You know? The school football team? Championship game? Come on!" He said getting a little more frustrated.
Their was a chorus of ''oh's'' amongst the girls.
"Oh ya..." Max said mimicking them. I started laughing and roled my eyes.
After lunch was over and we all carried on the rest of the day. But it still haunts me that I am going to meet a stupid boyband in about 2 days.
