I shivered with the cold thought of being stuck here. It's cold, I needed to just sit down and cry, but I don't. I'm strong and independent. All of a sudden I heard gun shots and my face scrunched up. Those people didn't run, their expressions didn't change. A lady's expressions changed into horror and her face turned white as snow. An old man fell to the ground whimpering in pain. A dark red color filled his shirt and leaked onto his arm. I wanted to run but I couldn't. My feet planted into the ground, I needed to run but finally I could slowly walk. I snaked in between the running crowd.
A skinny middle aged woman was lying dead on the side of the cement with a dark puddle of blood next to her. I gasp for air as I dizzily keep walking. My curiosity leads me towards the killer. The crowd is walking in sync. My legs shaking with fear of getting caught. A young girl was screaming running differently from the rest. I stopped. Her face was covered in tears. The poor little girl was only about 5 feet away from me. A gun fired and she fell flat on the cement. Before I could think my legs led me to the girl. I kneeled beside her.
"Help"She whispered.
"Close your eyes sweet child your family loves you." I whisper back.
"They were changed!" She cries out.
"Everything will be okay now just relax," I reply. She smiles and closes her eyes. Her arm falls dead and I knew she was gone, but she went to a better place. She had a piece of paper in her hand. I grabbed it and examined it. A letter from her brother,Dear jasmine,
Fear the world around you. Trust no one. You are different. You are Alline. Don't let them change you. If they have a syringe run.If they have a gun run as fast as you can. I hope you are older when you are reading this. You are so young, so precious my dear sister.

My eyes burning with anger. I couldn't die not knowing my family was well. I jumped up and ran. But I was suddenly stopped by a yanking on my arm. I lost my breath as a middle aged man grasped tightly on my arm.
"What do you think you are doing?" The man's eyes stared right through me. I didn't answer and struggled to escape. I'm too weak.I can't die, I snap my arm back making his wrist twist making him loose grip on my arm. My arm was sore but I tugged free and ran, as fast as I could. My feet just barely touching the ground as I run. I passed the crowds of people. I didn't know I could run so fast. I didn't know anything about my self. My ears were pounding, my head ached. I needed air. I trailed off the cement next to a building and sat down catching my breath. I put my head into my knees and stared at the ground. A pair of black boots jumped in front of me along with a thud. My teeth clenched together.
