   Isabelle's feet slowly inch around the metal bush. She sprinted towards the man dressed like a police and jumped onto his back knocking him down. He yelled, " I found..." He was cut off by Isabelle covering his mouth.
   "You are wrong" she whispers before stabbing him in the chest. Blood fills his shirt and his head slowly drops. She waves me over and I slowly creep out of the bushes.
   "Why did you kill him?" I ask shyly.
   "He is part of the government" she glares, "they want us all dead, but we are too smart for them." I nod with a grimacing look. How can children be doing this? We are running again, but not for long. She stops in front of a building. It's walls made of metal but torn in areas with pipes hanging out in the open. I dread to look at it but find Isabelle climbing the building.
   "Are you crazy?" I yell up to her.
   "Slightly" she laughs looking down. "Do you think you can climb? I know you don't have training but..." Before she could answer I jumped up grabbing onto a metal pipe. I pull my weight up over the pipe and grab onto a hole in the building and continue climbing. The metal edges pressing into my hands. My foot slips out of the hole leaving me dangling by my hands. The sharp metal cuts my hands leaving the blood to drip on my face. Isabelle looks down with horror on her face.
   "Teegan!" She screams. "I'll get you just wait!" I don't answer. I can be strong. My grip tightens on the metal and I use what strength I have left to pull me back to the hole in the wall. My feet swiftly land in position letting me lift my hands off the metal. The wounds sting with pain like I've been sliced with a giant paper cut. "I guess you handled that" Isabelle looks impressed.
   "I guess so" I smile. My smile fades when I hear a bullet shot from below. Men stand at the bottom of the building with guns aimed at us.
   "It's the government" she whispers. Isabelle begins to climb again but she doesn't get far before she gets shot in the arm. "Ahh!" She screams hanging on the building with only one arm. The blood rushes out of her arm staining her clothes. I look around the building and find a bigger hole to my far right.
   "Follow me!" I scream to Isabelle. She nods and climbs down towards me whimpering in pain. I pull myself into the hole of the building, shortly followed by Isabelle. She sits immediately and glances at her wound. I rip the bottom of my dress and wrap it around her arm putting pressure to the wound. "That should help a little" I comfort her.
   "Thanks" she smiles "how do you do so well for waking up with no memories?" She jokes. I look around the room of the building. The inside is just as damaged as the outside. Pipes leaking and wires cover the floor along with dirt. Wooden tables and broken chairs fill the room. It looks like it used to be an office. I walk over the wires towards a desk. My hand grips on the metal handle and pulls the draw open while leaving a blood imprint. Inside the draw is little paper clips and pencils covered in dust. Before I decided to walk away a sculpture caught my eye. I pick it up and dust it off revealing a tiny wooden sculpture of a bird spreading its wings. I shove it in my jean pocket and walk back to Isabelle.
   "Find anything helpful?" She asks. I shake my head and give her a hand up. Isabelle brushes off her pants and begins walking towards the back of the filthy building. I followed.
   "Where are we going?" I ask.
   "Back home" she answers with out turning back. "Well, my home anyways."
   "What about me?"
   "We put people who aren't changed in the shelter." She stops and finally looks back at me, "but I'm sure you will become apart of The Hidden."
               ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    We made it out behind the building and now headed down the streets. The streets are empty and silent. "Tell me about you" I say noticing that she is a complete stranger to me.
   "Like what?" She asks.
   "I don't know stuff about you" I look down at my feet embarrassed. "because I don't know myself."
   "My favorite color is green" she laughs.
   "Not much green at this place is there?" I frown. I picture the green grass moving in the wind at my farm.
   "No" she frowns. "I'm lucky to have my brother still alive though."
   "Really?" I smile.
"Yeah, he's kinda cool I guess" she laughs. I never had a brother only my little sister. "Do you know how old you are?"
   "I'm fourteen I think."
   "Really?" She looked shocked. "Me too" she laughs. I hope we can be friends, I want to trust someone. "My brother, Ashton, he is sixteen. And he is kind of protective of me." She laughs slightly.
   "That's nice knowing someone is there for you though."
   "Ya he doesn't want me going out like this, but he doesn't know I snuck out."
   "Why did you?" I ask curious.
   "I like to have some adventure and I got to meet you!" She smiles. We have been walking for awhile and we reach a small damaged store. In the dusty window the shelves are empty and cleaned out. Isabelle opens a underground cellar door.
   "In here" she says before jumping into the black pit. This is my future whatever is below. I jump in.
