The ground shook underneath me. I was laying on the warm cement, with my eyes closed. How did I get here? I was just with mama and little Amylin. But I only remember that memory. Nothing about who I am or what my name is. I opened my eyes slightly to find myself laying on the ground where people were walking past. I struggle to sit up. My arms feel so weak. My head is throbbing, I place my hand on my forehead to find blood. How did I get scratch? I noticed something strange. People were just passing me with out even looking at me or noticing that I was bleeding. They walk like stiff soldiers and their eyes locked straight. I stood and followed a big group of people. They wore such dull or dark colors. I tried to blend in but the fear on my face probably gave me away. Not that anyone was looking at me. "Hello?" I asked a pale faced lady. She didn't answer me. "Can you help me?" I asked another lady. "Please!" I asked anyone listening, but no one was. My hand were shaking, the temperature was cool here. I noticed I was wearing a white laced dress with a jean jacket and black boots. I seemed to stick out, with the white. I heard a whipping sound followed by a man screaming. I look over to see a man wearing a grey shirt with pins and a whip in his hand. The man on his knees looked in his early thirties. I needed to stay hidden so I ducked down and followed the crowd. The tall city buildings kept going and going.
All I have is the memory of my family. Was it a dream? I pinch my arm but I feel the pain. Nope not sleeping. This didn't feel real, the air was cool and smelled damp with mold. I wasn't near home. As I walked farther the building got shorter. Like a little town next to this city. Old metal signs were hanging off the small shops, they all looked closed and unused. There was a couple of benches and medal bushes. Why metal? The trees were metal too.
