Lost in Japan

I sit on top of a building in Tokyo with my legs dangling off the side. Pen and scrap paper in my hand as I beat my thigh with my hand.

"We take on the world together. I'm Bonnie you could be Clyde." I say to myself. "Oh that's good, I like that." I scribble it down on the envelope I found in the jet this morning. While I'm here I'm writing a song, better make use of my time while I'm doing nothing.

I've been told to sit here and wait for Steve, or any sight of Ultron, while he goes to the lab and check on the cradle.

"We'll be outlaws." I change the tone of my voice from alto to soprano and try it again. "We'll be outlaws." I smile, this song is perfect. I stuff the envelope into my uniform and power on. Ultron just exited the building Steve went in to about ten minutes ago.

"I've got sight of Tony's reject, are you coming?"

"Already there." I fly closer to the ground and there they are, dancing on top of a truck. Ultron knocks Steves shield out of his hand and it falls. Fast, I see Natasha ride in on a motorcycle.

"Do I always have to pick up after you boys" she says smoothly picking up his shield. The two fall and tumble onto the highway as cars zoom past them. Ultron gets up first and uses magnetism to lift cars and toss them at Steve. He dodges them left and right.

"Need help?" I ask.

"No." More cars come flying at him, he almost doesn't make it. "Yes." I swoop down and come to the rescue.

"Don't worry, I've got you." I took it lightly, and was hit. I slide across the pavement on my stomach. I struggle to get up, my legs barely hold my body weight anymore. Then I feel this hunger.

"So much for back up." Steve remarks. I stand up straight and stretch my arms out grasping for energy. The cars start moving slower, then stopping. Crashes start to occur. Things around me are stopping but I'm almost ready to take off. Then I realize what I'm doing, what I did.

"Tiana where are you?"

"Yeah yeah I'm coming." I'm fine now. My head no longer hurts, I feel better than before.

"Are you sure-"

"Here I come. Where are you?"

"In an off rail train, you can't miss it." I power on and catch up with Steve, and he's right. The train was way off track and about to hit people in the streets. I fly inside to see what's going on.

Inside it looked like a train wreck, get it cause it's a wrecked train, or will be if someone doesn't do something. Pietro and Wanda were there, looked a little tired. I smile at him and he gives me a light wave as well.

Before Steve tells me to, I spread out my arms and try to activate the brakes. Palms open, powered on.

"Tiana this train is-" Luckily, Japan is like years ahead of America technology wise and it works. Maybe not years, but still in the lead.

"I can turn on the brakes but there's still no tracks and were still on a hill." I say working my powers.

"There's civilians in our path." Pietro leaves immediately and moves people out of the way from the runaway train. I decide to pour all of my energy into stopping this train, but it wasn't slowing down. Wanda stands next to me and does her thing.

"What are you doing?"

"You can't do it alone." I smile and pull harder. The train comes to a halt, the tires screech and smoke clears the area. As I step out of the train I see Pietro leaning against a pole breathing heavy. I jog to him and pat him on the back.

"You? Tired? Since when?" He looks up and smiles at me. Pietro hugs me unexpectedly, his arms tied around my neck and mine around his torso. "Good job, saving those people. Hero."

"Your the one who stopped the train." We let go and I almost fell. My head is spinning.

"With your sister, but yeah I did you know have the idea to use the brakes." Pietro laughs, I would too but I start to lose my balance.

"Are you okay? You seem dizzy."

"Yeah I'm fine I just uh, didn't drink enough water today. Dehydrated, you know." I put my hands on my hips and try to stand straight but my feet are falling out from below me, again.

"Your not fine, come here." Pietro grabs me, as soon as he does, I relax and lay in his arms. I feel us sink towards the ground. I take deep breaths and try to see his face through my blurry vision. I can feel my pulse in my brain as blood pumps through the veins in my skull. My fingers go numb and I barely have enough air to breathe. Then I start to hyperventilate, but I get a few words out between breaths.

"Holy shit, I'm so tired." I blink slower and everything I hear is deep and diluted. Pietro and Steve are in my face tapping me, but I drift further away and eventually I drown in the darkness of my head.
