"Ladies and Gentlemen, I would like to introduce our new empire artist, Kia"
It has been a month since Lucious got out of jail, his charges has been dropped by a set of jury.
He is now back at Empire with his son Jamal announcing the new artist of Empire.
Kia has been the talk of town, with her amazing vocal,dancing, and rapping skills not to mention her being the cousin of current Empire artist, Tiana.
Tiana introduced Kia to Jamal a couple a weeks ago, Jamal didn't like the young girl at first because of her shocking attitude but Lucious made Jamal agree by saying she will bring something new to Empire.
After the announcement, the father and son duo stayed in the office with the new artist.
"So we're thinking about you and Hakeem creating a duet, with your vocals and his rapping skills it can be a hit" Lucious says with a slight smile on his face
Kia looked at the two men in front of her like they lost their damn mind, and in a way, they have.
"Um, you do realize that I'm Tiana's cousin right?"
"Yes, we do but what does that have to do with us?" Jamal states
"That's her ex, me and Tiana knew each other since we were kids, we're like sisters and you want me to do a song with someone who broke her heart?"
"Kia, with all due respect, that's personal problems, this is business.." Jamal begins
"It wasn't business when they performed at the Teen Choice Awards." Kia spit back
Rolling her eyes, Kia gets up and dismissed herself out the room.
Seconds later after the young woman left the office, leaving the two men in their seats
"We have to get her to perfom with Hakeem" Lucious says standing up
"Yeah..I've been meaning to ask you about that, I thought you didn't want anything to do with them" Jamal questions his father, referring to the rest of the Lyon family.
"I thought about it, Hakeem's home is at Empire, we can't leave him in the dirt like that"
"But you said it yourself that they're planning something against us"
Lucious sigh and gets closer to his son
"That's the point keep-"
"Your friends close and enemies closer" Jamal finishes proudly
Lucious shakes his head and smirks at his son
"how should we get her to do the song?" Lucious ask Jamal
"I think i have someone in mind"

"Come on Porsha, you walking too slow now" Cookie says as she walks into a restaurant
The two sat down and waited for the person they were there for.
"Damn how long do we have to wait, i'm hungry as f-"
"Shut up porsha" Cookie says cutting off Porsha
Seconds later the woman with a white suit and short hair walks in
Cookie stands up and greets the woman by saying
"Ms. Boo Boo kitty"
"Cookie" Anika says sitting down
"So, what do you want?" Cookie asked the young woman
"You"
"Oh hell naw, not with that gay shit" Porsha spats out
"Shut...up" Cookie says slowly to her assistant
"I want you to be part of my plan to take down Lucious" Anika begins
"And why is that?"
"He did us both wrong Cookie, and I personally seen how well you do your job"
"And?"
"With both of us, we can create our own Empire, something to call ours....yours" Anika finishes
It takes cookie a minute to take in what the woman said
She understands what the young woman is trying to do, and of course cookie wants to see Lucious crash and burn but to betray her son, to forget everything she risked her life for?
"No thank you miss thing" Cookie says standing up
"Find a someone else to do your dirty deeds"
After Cookie and Porsha walk out the restaurant, Anika gets out her cell phone and dials a number
"Hello? Yes this is Anika, Let's talk business.''
