Anika sat in her office in her new home, looking through papers and scrolling through her laptop. She stops at the sound of her office door being open.
Anika looks up to see her close friend walking through the door
"Hey" Rhonda says sitting down on the chair in front to Anika's desk
Anika smiles at the woman and continues her work. She was mad at the white woman because she heard about the "affair" Lucious and Rhonda had, not to mention that she was going to have his child and not tell anyone made her even more upset.
"Look, i know you're mad at me but i couldn't" Rhonda looks down to try holding back the tears
Anika looks up and grabs the woman's hand across the table, rubs her thumb along her hand.
"Just tell me what happened. Everything" Anika says letting go of the Rhonda's hand.
"Ok well" At this point Rhonda told Anika everything.
She only had sex with Lucious for Andre to keep his job, Lucious didn't believe he was suited for empire anymore so Rhonda took it upon herself to do anything to prevent that. The pregnancy on the other hand, she had a physical and somehow got results of her pregnancy.
After Rhonda was done telling Anika, Anika went to her friend and gave her a hug, after the hug Anika asked another question
"What happened with Lucious?"
Rhonda looked at the light skinned woman and shakes her head.
"He was..horrible, after i told him about the miscarriage he laughed and told me i deserved it" Rhonda was now in tears
She never wanted this to happen, all she wanted was her husband to keep his job.
Anika just stood there and shook her head. After Rhonda shed a few tears Anika walked her out of her home and went back to her office
Going back to work Anika gets a phone call from the same person she called after lunch with Cookie.
"So when do we start?"

"Soon, i promise."
"Who are you talking to babe?" Ryan says talking to his boyfriend
"I-i have to call you back" Jamal says hanging up quickly, stealing a kiss from his boyfriend.
"Who was it?" Ryan ask again.
"None special, but hey how have you been? Where's Liyah?"
"Out with some of her old friends"
The couple start talking about their day until Ryan questions Jamal with something out of the blue
"Are you cheating on me?"
Jamal nearly spit out his water at this question "no baby no, why would you ask that?" He ask putting his glass of water down
"The phone calls, i guess the appropriate question is, are you hiding anything from me?"
"Of course not" Jamal says grabbing his lovers hands, standing him up from the couch.
"I would never hurt you" Jamal leans in to kiss his boyfriend softly on the lips
"Now, go upstairs and i'll show how much i love you" Jamal says smirking
As Ryan walked up the stairs, Jamal quickly grabs his phone and text Liyah.

Sent to Liyah:
Be Careful, call me when it's done.

"Liyah,What are you doing? Why are we in an abandoned parking lot?" Kia says looking at the other girl who is in front of the car
"Jesus calm down, i wish i never brought your annoying ass" Liyah says as she is looking at her phone.
Then Liyah looks at the woman in the driver's seat and smirks "you ready mani?"
"yeah" Normani says opening her car door
Kia just looks at the two women like they're crazy as hell
"What the fuck? what's the purpose of this? I thought we were gonna have a movie night"
"Shut up, now stay here"
With that Liyah leaves out the car door.
After the two women left, Kia realizes that Liyah left her phone, she takes off her seatbelt to crawl in the seat Liyah was in and grabs the phone.
"Wow, no security lock?" Kia says smirking, after a while sees the messages on her phone from an unknown number
8:00 P.M
Unknown: You ready?
Kia looks at the phone confused then looks at other messages and one caught her eye
7:25
Unknown: Here's the file, time to take it down.
Kia clicked the link that said The Betrayal Game that was part of text after reading it she drops the phone and covers her mouth
"Oh hell nah" Kia then gets her phone to call someone
Once that person answered Kia says
"I think there is someone trying to take down Empire. "
