Empire Series: The Legacy Begins

Bang Bang Part 1

"Are you sure Kia?" Hakeem says sitting down next to the girl

After finding the messages on Liyah's phone, Kia took it upon herself to call someone and that was Hakeem. Once the phone call between the two was over Kia hopped out that car and ran, she didn't know where she was going but all she knew was that she didn't want to be part of a plan that might cost her job. Somehow Cookie was riding down the street trying to find the nearest food joint and saw Kia, thinking it was a homeless, took her in. After realizing who she was, Kia told Cookie everything and called Hakeem to get to her house, which is where we left off.

"Yes i'm sure, i saw the messages and everything" Kia says shaking her head

"But why? Why Liyah?" Hakeem questions

"Hell, she's probably the one who bailed Lucious out." Cookie adds "who was the other girl with her?"

"Norm...ani?" Kia answers unsure

"We need to tell....everyone" Hakeem says picking up his phone

"Boy" Cookie takes her sons phone and puts it back on the table "We don't know if this is actually true"

Out of anger Kia stands and looks at cookie "but i seen it!, i seen everything the messages and fucking plan and your telling me it's not true?"

Cookie just looks at the younger woman and let's out a sigh and turns to Hakeem

"you better talk to her before i do, imma hurt her feelings"

Hakeem takes Kia's hand and leads her out the back porch of Cookie's condo

"Listen it's not that we don't believe you but, if we let out a claim like this and it's not true then we're screwed" Hakeem says holding on to the girls shoulders

"Then we prove it"

"How?"

"Easy" Kia steps a little bit closer to Hakeem "keep friends close..." Kia takes another step, basically in Hakeem's face "and enemies closer."

Two weeks after the incident everything appeared to be normal. With the Lyons, it's everything but that.

Hakeem and Kia have been working together with their "new" song, they basically decided to take the song "Bang Bang" and recreate it with some different flows, same concept and give it a little more 2015 vibe feel to it. not to mention these two have been trying to figure out what the "Betrayal Game" is and why Liyah is or seem to be apart of it.

Sitting down in the studio at Hakeem's house, Kia looks over at Hakeem, enjoying the sight of him being focused on his work. She's not going to lie, Hakeem is fine and he feels the same way about her. Hell, you would be called dumb if you didn't see the chemistry these two have in the studio and out. You would see them flirt, do little cheek kisses and all. The only thing stopping them is this plan to take over Empire, I mean that's all they think about now.

"What are we?" Kia spit out and wanted to take back as soon as she said it

"What?" Hakeem replies looking up from his laptop screen

"Nothing, just thinking out loud" Kia says sitting down on the small couch

Silence took over the room once more until

"What do you want us to be?" Hakeem says getting up, moving to the couch

"I don't know, why i said it it's just-" Hakeem's lips found his way to Kia's. I mean they had little kisses before but not like this. It had more passion, love, lust, even.

The two break apart and look at each other in the eyes.

Silence. Not bad kind of silence but good, that's one thing about them.
They didn't need to say anything to each other, just looking at each other was enough.

"Guess that answered my question" Kia laughed a little

The two looked at each other, ended up having each others lips together once more, forgetting all the problems they had once before.

Seconds later they were interrupted by sounds of a ringing. The newly couple stopped and Kia looked at her phone and answered

The phone call didn't last long and didn't have to.

Kia hangs up the phone to look at Hakeem

"We need to get to Empire. Now"

Liyah sat on the piano looking at the piano keys, touching them with her hands. Hearing footsteps coming toward her she smirks and turns her head half way to look at the figure walking to her

"I wish i can play"

"You can" Jamal says putting down his cup of water on top of the piano

"You know" Liyah starts as she completely turns to Jamal

"I'm glad I did it, and i'm glad you helped"

"You know i'll do anything for you, i'm proud" Jamal says getting up "Now let me help you with this"

Jamal points to the piano and Liyah turns around to face it again. She puts her hands on the keys like before and waits to be instructed. Jamal looks at Liyah from behind as his hands are on her shoulders.
"You have nice hair" he whispers in her ear
The younger girl laughs at the older man's comment.
"That must be the gay talking"
Jamal smiles at the younger girl comment and continues to touch her hair, playing with it actually

"Can you stop playing games and teach me how to play" Liyah says laughing slightly
Jamal takes his left hand and pulls Liyah's hair to make her head fall back.

"But i like it girl, it's fab!" Jamal says in a more exciting tone

The two starts to laugh, then sudden stops to look at each other before colliding their lips together.
