Chapter Thirteen Open

I tried to apologize to her.I tried to tell her that it was my fault even though we both knew it already.She didnt want to deal with me anymore.She didnt want to see me even in a painted picture.My voice wouldnt sooth her to sleep anymore.The smell of her silky skin would never be touched by me anymore.
I chose this.My heart didnt choose this because if it had i would be married to the love of my life , not the love life tells me is right.

"Goodmorning" i heard as the sun entered the room

"Morning"i said as i slowly opened my eyes gripping the white sheets

"Howd you sleep"

"Good,still a bit tired"i said my upper body supported on my hands

"Im off to work ill see you at lunch?"

"Actually i wont be able to make it,I have to catch up on some patients"

"Alright ill see you for dinner then?"

"Yes"

"Have fun at work"

"You too"i said as he kissed my forhead and left the room

I layed back down on the bed,again thinking of those green eyes.Those pink lips,that dark hair.What was she doing right now?Who is she showing that wonderful smile of hers to?
Hearing her voice the other day almost killed me.I walked away from Ryan the second he handed me the phone,which was good he probably wouldve questioned the rift between Lauren and I.
I finally decided to get up but before I did I had to go to one destination.

Laurens POV

I was rushing to get ready as i was begining to be late for my first day.

"Heres your coffe just how you lile it"the other brunette said handing me the mug

"Thank you,i wish i could talk"

"Its okay i understand ill go shopping for food today,should i wait for you?"

"I,I dont know really Ill call you okay?"

"Okay,goodluck"she said giving me a hug before i practically ran out of the apartment

Once I arrived to the company i rushed into my office as i knew i had a meeting.Everything was going so fast until i met those green eyes with the splash of blue.

"Goodmorning Ms.Jauregui"

"Goodmorning Ms.Scott" i said following along with her actions

"You have a couple of meetings today"

"As long as you are with me to direct me i know ill be fine"

"Well yeah for most of them,I have to go see some of our products at another place"

"Can I come along"

"Dont worry youll have enough to do here Lauren"

"Oh so now im Lauren what happened to Ms.Jauregui?"

"Well,I thought'"she said looking into my eyes confused

"Im kidding,so were off to first?"

"Well we have a meeting with investors and plans on the growth of the company"

"Sounds extremely fun"

"It should be, ill be right nex to you for this one"she replied with a warm smile i couldnt help but soften up at her look she was perfect
After a long 30 minutes of charts and percentages that i really could have less off the meeting ended.We shook the hands of the older businesspartners and walked out shortly.
