30 Tea Talk

Camden had been helping me with the office in California so i had more time to be at the hospital and helping Camila with the baby.Camila had been very distant and not really trying to talk to me since Camden arrived.Maybe she felt awkward around her,i wasnt sure.

I sat on the bed preparing to go to sleep as i heard the baby cry,i thought Camila would attend her but the baby kept crying.Camden was in the restroom so i didnt think she would mind,i left the room to find Camila alone with Alex.

"Is she okay?"

"I dont know my moms sick and the baby has just been crying non stop"

"Can i hold her?"

"Yeah"she said looking at me with her dark circles and dark eyes

"Does she cry like this every night?"

"No and if she does my mom usually knows what to do"

"Uhm did she eat already?"

"Yeah"

"Maybe shes peed"i said as i laid her down,her diaper was in fact wet

I helped Camila change the babies diaper and watched with admiration as she did it so calmly as Alexandria moved around still crying.

"Wow im impressed"

"Its not as easy as it looks"

"I bet"Camila held the baby but she still cried

"Let me hold her you sit down youre probably tired"i danced around the rokm tryin to quiet the baby down until she did.She fell asleep in my arms and i had never felt so accomplished.

"Shes beautiful"

"She looks alot like you,hopefully her eyes stay green so they are as stunning as yours"

"Where do i lay her?"

"Let me have her"she said as she fixed the babys crib

I stood beside her as she placed the baby in the crib.The baby was still fuzzy after being placed on the crib.

"Can you give me her pacifier,its on the bed"

"Yeah sure"i went to the bed and got what was needed as i gave the pacifier to Camila it slipped out of her hand we both dropped to grip the small item and ended up grabbing each other's hands.I got a view of her beautiful brown eyes.She took a deep breath and I did as well.

"Lauren?"

"Oh i was just helping Camila with the baby"

"Oh you needed to grab her hand?"

"The pacifier it fell we were trying to-"

"Oh uhm the pacifier is kinda on the floor not her hand"the blonde said as she got closer to the both of us which were now syanding up sttaight like teenage kids after being caught doing something wrong

"Yeah we both missed it"Camila stating the obvious

"Here ill help"Camden said picking up the pacifier,cleaning it in the restroom and walking back to the both of us.Camila and I looked at each other pretty emberassed.

"Here all good"Camden said giving the pacifier to Camila.Camila stared at Camden for a while almost confused before recieving the pacifier

"Thank you for the help"she stated in monotone

"Any time"Camden said smiling,and we both left the room.

I closed the door as we entered our room Camden quickly got into her side of the bed and didnt turn to look my way.
