I woke up next to the woman i had fallen for.So much had happened,i had loved and lost but now i was going to marry Camden.She was still asleep so i decided to check my phone i had various missed calls and texts i assumed were from other companies .I had turned my phone off the night before so nothing would distract Camden and I.

I checked the calls and they were from an unknown number.So i decided to call back.

"Community Hospital how may i help you?"

"Uhm hi yes i have several calls from your number but i dont understand why"

"Your name please"

"Lauren Jauregui"

"Oh Miss Jauregui yes,your mother actually called"

"My mother?whats wrong with my mom?!"i said frantically

"Calm down Miss Jauregui your mother is fine,its your brother Ryan"i dropped the phone and Camden woke up

"Miss Jauregui,miss jauregui..."

"Whats wrong Lauren"i began to cry as Camden looked at the phone and picked it up.

We got the quickest flight we could to California.I really didnt know what to think so much was running through my head.I literly got engaged the night before and now i was on a flight to see my brother in the hospital.Camden talked to the nurse and she confirmed he was in a car accident,the other car lost control from the rain and crashed into Ryan.Thats all the information they gave us,my eyes were puffy from crying.I had tried to call my mom various times even Camila but none of them answered.

"Dont worry baby everything will be fine"Camden said as we drove to the hospital.

"I dont know what ill do if things arent" i said as i laid my head on my future wife

"Okay we are here"the cab driver announced

"Thanks"

I walked into the hospital and the nurse directed me to where my family would be.Camden practically held me to walk to the designated area.I saw my mom on the chair and ran to her collapsing in her arms.She creied and i cried even though i thought i didnt have any more tears inside my eyes.

"Mami"

"Lauren mija"she replied carressing my cheek.I hadnt seen her this bad since dad died.I couldnt imagine thinking of my life without Ryan.Not this soon.I was supposed to die first i was older.

"Can i see him?"

"No not yet honey"

"Im sorry i didnt answer my phone was off and-"

"Its okay baby as long as youre here now"

I sat down next to my mother as Cammie held my hand.I looked around and noticed someone was missing.

"And Camila?"Camdens hand loosened off mine

"Shes in a room Sinu is with her"

"Was she in the crash mami?tell me is she okay?Is the baby okay?"i asked frantically

"Shes fine honey she wasnt in the crash she fainted after the news but shes fine the babys fine mija"

I could feel Camden was uncomfortable but Camila had my niece inside her how was i supposed to not worry.We waited for hours without news of Ryan.It had been a whole night and day and still no news.Now i was here and ive been waiting for a whole damn day and the doctors still couldnt get him to be stable?Surgery after surgery and i couldnt imagine how much my brother could be passing through.
