"You're too quiet."
Am I?
"Your silence makes us think that you don't care about what's happening around you."
But I am aware and often times, I find myself caring.
"But you don't show it."
I sometimes do.
"But we don't see it."
Some of you are too preoccupied about unnecessary things, you lose track of the important ones.
"Well, we're just busy."
No, you're not. You're idling.
"What makes you say that?"
You don't let your minds work, only your mouths.
"That's a rude thing to say."
That's why I don't speak much. You can't handle frankness.
"We can. What you said just kind of stings."
Do you want to know why?
"Why?"
Because it's the truth.
"You're assuming things."
Am I?
"Not all of us are like that."
I was speaking generally. Don't get so defensive.
"I'm not being defensive."
Then, why are you acting as if you were burned?
"Maybe I did."
And you said I was assuming things.
