It has been 2 months since they have met and hangout at Starbuck. People living in that small cities assume Amirah has already gotten herself a boyfriend. Nobody knows the truth except herself and maybe even someone else too.

Alexander and Amirah had been secretly dating for the last couple of weeks. The event when Alexander ask Amirah if she wants to be his girlfriend was rewinding in her head like a movie film on repeat.

It happen when they were having their usual coffee in Starbuck which is now a routine for both of them to come and see each other every Sunday morning before Alexander goes to work. It was around Autumn season and they were walking side by side towards the park where they first started talking. The old tree where they first chatted was very memorable for Amirah. They were getting closer to that tree but Alexander suddenly stopped in his tracks.

Amirah stopped as well but a few feet away before turning around to face Alexander. She gave him a confused look. "Why did you stop?"

He seems nervous which makes her slightly concerned. Alexander let out a breath that he didn't know he was holding then spoke up. "This might be a good time to ask you this question, I have been holding on to this for a while."

Amirah froze, she try to think over any situation that was her fault for making him look so nervous all of a sudden just to say something but nothing came in her mind. What could she have done to make him so nervous? She just stay silent so he could continue where he left off by nodding.

Alexander take a deep inhale, trying to calm his heartbeats. This might be it, this could be how her friendship with Alexander would end. There's no turning back. Amirah shut her eyes tight, wishing she would not hear those words coming out of his mouth.

"Do you wanna be my girl?" He spoke, without pausing or shuttering his words.

Amirah shot her head up to look at Alexander in his eyes. Her brown eyes are caught in his blue eyes, it feels like there's something spark inside of her. Those words took her by surprise, it's like the world had stop just for them. She didn't realise how long she had stood there frozen because the next thing she knows, Alexander was frowning when she didn't answer him. He must have got the wrong idea.

"I'm sorry if it came out all of a sudden. You don't have to if you don't want..."

"Are you kidding? I would love to." She grin, feeling something inside of her stomach which human refers to butterfly in her stomach. It may took awhile for her to get use to but it's worth a shot.
