Their relationship has grew stronger and more stable than ever. For the last two years after their marriage, Amirah was finally pregnant. Alexander doesn't know it yet due to the fact that Amirah just discover it when she did two pregnancy test.
Few days before Amirah found out, she has been throwing up lately and she kept feeling the urge of eating almost every hour. Since none of her friends has ever experienced it before, Amirah doesn't even know the sign that she's pregnant.
After a while she then realise that she's might be pregnant after watching a clip about sign of a pregnant woman. When she watches it, she didn't expect to find the sign she already had. So just to make it official, on the next day she brought two pregnancy test. And that's how it all started.
Amirah was so happy that she can't resist letting her happy tears pour out. This is great news!
The sound of the front door shut bring Amirah back to reality. Alex is back! She quickly hide the pregnancy test in the cabinet before scrambling out her way from the bathroom to their bed. It may not have been a good idea, but atleast when Alexander enter the bedroom he wouldn't suspect something was up since Amirah have been staying in bed for the past few days.
As the sound of the floor boards creak gets closer, Amirah's heart beats nervously. Hoping she didn't left any traces of evidence that she left the bed so she could avoid any form of suspicion.
"Hi beautiful. Rest well?" Alexander said sweetly as he opens the door to their bedroom. His lab coat was drape on his left arm with his suitcase in hand. Wearing only his fancy casual which somehow make him seems smart and sexy, Amirah sometime wonder how he does it. Probably with magic or some sort. But that's not what Amirah was worrying about at the moment.
"Um... yeah." Smiling awkwardly, hating herself for lying. She knew he could see it through her no matter what, the thought of it reliefs her a little in other words, makes her know that Alexander truly care for her and what she thought.
"Are you sure? I know there's definitely something in your head Amirah, do you want to talk about it?" Sitting on the edge of the bed, grabbing hold both of Amirah's hands to reassure her that she can trust him.
Amirah sigh in defences, knowing Alexander won't get it any other way. "Well... I've been feeling kinda odd lately and I think I know why." She said, letting her thought speak for themselves.
"What is it?" Alexander ask eagerly, seemingly willing to do anything to get Amirah to feel better. But in this situation that's not the case. Amirah crack a smile and looks straight into Alexander's eyes.
"I'm pregnant."

The scene of Alexander leaving her keeps replaying in her mind. The sound of her scream wanting him to come back was starting to fade, as Alexander figure started to fade into the white background as well. She felt tears streaming down her eyes.
This is a nightmare.
And that's when she felt a hand on her right shoulder, shaking her violently with a soft sound of her name being called. The shaking makes her jolt awake. It was just a dream, a horrible one. She looks at her right to see who's hand belongs to, and it was Alexander's.
Amirah felt her tears drip out again and she jump onto her husband for a hug. Alexander hugs her back, petting her back with one hand. They stay like that for God knows how long before they both let go of each other but still in each other's arm.
"What happen?" Alexander ask softly, cupping Amirah's face with on hand to wipe her tears away.
"I have a nightmare." Amirah said quietly, blush from embarrassment for acting so childish and scared.
"Hey, it's alright now. You don't have to be sacred." They were in silence for a few more minutes before Alexander speak again. "Do you wanna talk about it?"
Amirah kept quiet, debating on herself whether or not she should say it. "No thanks, I'm sure I can handle it."
"You know Amirah, you're a brave girl. The bravest I have ever met. If anything happens, I know you can handle it. But now, let's get some sleep okey?" Alexander kiss her on her forehead good night before laying back down in bed.
Amirah can't stop feeling that one day Alexander was going to leave her. Even if it was just a dream, she still feel that her husband was going to leave her. Maybe not now, but one day. It fears her the most, but why would Alexander leave her though? There's no reason for him to leave her. Amirah can't think straight right now and felt the need to rest.
She lay back down onto the comfy bed and soon drift off to sleep, a stressful sleep. It bugs her, it really does. Should she have listen to her people, or should she just ignore them and do whatever her hearts desire? Just when she thought her life was going to get easier.
