Packing was a lot harder than Amirah thought. Their house might be huge but they just need limited amount of stuff since it is already a completely pack with furniture and some great wide spaces, giving the feeling that they're not being compress by the walls.
Moving in wasn't so bad, but boxing her old room where she had grew up in then finally move out from it was hard. It might be the last time she'll ever be seeing it before her mother turned it into a guest room or something. One last look of the room, and 'this is finally it'.
The thing which are necessarily to bring were not much; clothes, a box fill with childhood memories, valuable gifts and that's it. Her mother has brought them a pot of plant, perfect for their round dining table. Putting in three to four medium sizes boxes into Alexander's compact car, before hugging her mother goodbye.
Their new house was just an hour away from where Amirah's mother live and 20 minutes away from Alexander's work place. Which is a little disappointing since she can't visit the coffee shop very so often again, but worth the shot.
Amirah and her mother pull away from the hug. "I'm so prove of you." Her mother whisper, cupping her daughter cheek with her hands. Amirah looks at her mother and saw a single line of tears on her mother's face.
"Thank you for everything you have done for me." Amirah whisper back, happy with the decision she makes. Knowing that she made the right choices makes her feel more confident in life and knows what she wants. Nobody can decide for her life and nobody will.
After they exchange their 'goodbyes', Amirah went straight into the car where Alexander was waiting inside. "So... Will your mom be OK?" Alexander ask in concern.
"I'm sure she'll be fine. Besides it's not like anything could go wrong in this neighbourhood." Amirah said, a little bit unsure about the last part. She looks back at her mother who was leaning against the doorway in her lazy morning casual attire.
Amirah waves goodbye to her mother and smile, knowing her smiles sometimes comforts her. As Alexander pull out the driveways, Amirah started to feel missed already. The place she grew up call home is starting to fade from the window view as Alexander drove off to their new home.

After we settle in and unbox Amirah's stuff, they were now snuggle up on their couch in the lounge. Amirah's head on Alexander's chest, hand wrap around her protectively. They stay there in a comfortable silence, without any words exchange to express how they're feeling for each other is needed. The long silence makes Amirah realise how tired she was, so she began to shut her eyes and get some rest. But then Alexander suddenly spoke, breaking the silence between them.
"Have you ever wonder if this was all a dream come true right before your eyes?" Alexander ask softly, wondering if Amirah heard him or have already fallen asleep. She heard him and started to wonder if this was all she ever wanted and dream of.
"I think it is a dream come true." She smiles, knowing herself fully well that is what she wanted all along. Amirah felt a soft peck on her head. Small sweet affection from Alexander always makes her heart pound slightly faster with butterflies in her stomach flying around violently, trying to burst out from her stomach. Which leads to another thought that she's been wanting to talk about with him.
"Have you ever thought of having kids?" Amirah ask, risking the question because she doesn't know how Alexander would react. When he heard it, he didn't react instead there was silence for a moment before he spoke.
"You know, I have. I was thinking our first child as a boy." He said, intertwining their hands together.
"Yeah?" She raises her eyebrow to determine if he was serious.
"Yeah, can you imagine that he'll grow up to be a strong independent child and have an impact to in this world?" To Amirah it sounds like a statement more than a question.
Amirah let out a soft sigh, this is the life she always wanted to live in. A life full of wonderful adventure waiting for her. A new story of their life, as a family with a new beginning.
