Flamingo Paradise

Chapter 8

     "Where are we going?"

     Amirah's vision were covered by both of Alexander's hands. He had set up a very big surprise for Amirah within the past couple of week living in Alexander's apartment. It was a struggle to keep the surprise away from her since she was being so nosy and tried to sneak a peek but it never happened. Luckily she failed to find out until this day, where he is going to reveal his mysterious secret.

     They have been walking for who knows how long. With every step Alexander was leading her, she just can't contain the excitement rushing through her veins.

     "Don't worry, we're almost there sweetheart. Just a few more step." He said sweetly. Stopping in front of his present, Amirah took that as a sign they were already there.

     "Can I look now?" She question, the atmosphere felt different but yet warm and relaxing. The breeze, with the sound of leafs rustling softly into her ears. It's almost as if she was in the other side of earth.

     Alexander removed his hands away from her eyes to allow his present come in her view. Amirah flicker her eyes to adjust her vision. She gasped when she saw the three storage modern house right in front of her.

"Alex, did you?" She turned around to look at him in disbelieve but felt very grateful to have him as a husband. He nodded, without any words to explain her emotions, she let out tears of joy. Alexander then move forward and hug her tight afraid, her leg were going to give up on her anytime soon. He give her head a gentle peck while stroking her soft stray hair with his left hand in her hand and the other on her back. It was really soothing at that very moment, everything was calm and magical, almost like it was a fairytale.

     After Amirah stopped sobbing, Alexander used his right hand to cup her face and pull it away from his chest to look into her eyes. Their eyes seems mesmerises by the colour and charm.

     "Let's get in shall we?" He grin down on her, it's best to know that she has not declined yet perhaps. Alexander escort her in after having some little trouble with the key jamming.

Amirah was first to step in, despite her current state a few minutes ago she felt like her legs were about to give up but now her brain was in alert. Seeing as if she just step in a fancy hotel with bright lit chandeliers hanging high above the ground. She observes everything in her surroundings, very modern but not the classic type of house you see everyday. Amirah didn't know how long she was walking around while examining every inch of the places with Alexander watching over her from across the room. Every few moments she will either gasps or let out a soft 'wow' to every details she spot. After walking into every room and looking out at that perfect view from the window, they have both end up in the lounge on the couch.

"So, what do you think?" He had work extra hours to raise enough money for this house. All his work had finally paid off, only one thing that stands in his way. It all comes down to this, he only needs her approval if she is willing to live with him in their new house.

"To be honest with you, it feels like I'm living in my dreams." Ah women, always playing hard to get.

"Is that a yes?" Raising an eyebrow in questioning her answer.

Amirah nodded frantically, "Yes, I would definitely live here with you."

      With a soft kiss on the lips, she has shown that she is determined to stay with him for the rest of their life together.
