Chapter 15

*Chapter 15* 

*Charlie's POV*

I quickly woke up in Harry's bed by the sound of my Iphone going off. I reached towards the bedside table to get it.

"Hello?" I half whispered while getting out of bed trying not to wake up Harry.

"Charlotte, it's Simon. Do you have a song ready for me yet? Or even better, do you have two?" Simon Cowell asked me.

"As a matter of fact I have 3 songs written and ready to be recorded. When should I go to the studio?" I asked.

"In a half hour. I'll be there, too. I have someone I'd like you to meet. I think he'll be a great manager for you. Anyways, I'll see you in 30. Goodbye," Simon said  before hanging up.

"I quickly took a shower and went back to my room. I slipped on a white v-neck, some leggings and a open sweater that went down to my knees. I grabbed my black oxfords and went to find my purse. I threw my phone, keys, music and wallet in the bag.

Harry was still sleeping when I went to check on him. Even though he doesn't know I gave him a kiss on the cheek and ran out the door, taking Louis' car keys. I quickly texted Harry before leaving.

"Simon called and asked me to record some songs. I'm not sure when I'll be back yet. xx"

I drove into the parking lot 5 minutes early and made my way to the studio.

When I walked in I saw Simon talking to a young man that I have never seen before. I walked over, smiling politely.

"Charlotte, this is Frank Smith, he is your new manager. Frank this is Charlotte," Simon said before walking away.

"Nice to meet you Charlotte," Frank said extending his hand, which I shook.

"Please, call me Charlie," I replied.

"Alright, Charlie, get in the booth and show me what you've got," he said, walking over to the counter by the sound engineer.

I walked into the booth and sat by the piano. I recorded "Stay" quickly and went back out to get feedback. Simon was gone, but Frank and the sound engineer, Daniel, were there.

"That was really great," Frank said, smiling approvingly.

"Daniel. did you get the background music recorded for "Next to Me" and "Beautiful"? I asked.

"I did and they are all ready to go," Daniel replied.

"I've been thinking that "Beautiful" should be a duet, so for the last 4 days, I've been secretly working to get you a partner. And here he is," Frank said pointing towards the door, where I saw Justin Bieber walking my way.

We practiced a couple of times and then had the song recorded in two hours.

"That was the fastest I have ever recorded a duet," Justin said before leaving.

We exchanged numbers and I gave him a hug before he left. He was a nice boy.

"Alright, Charlie, one song left. I think we can get this done in an hour, so let's go," Frank said.

After I finished recording, I stepped out of the booth and saw both Simon and Harry. Harry walked over to me and put his arm around my waist and kissed my cheek. Simon shook his head and smiled, before walking over to Frank and Daniel.

"Are you done here?" Harry asked moving to face me and grabbing my small hands in his big ones.

"I just finished, but I'm really hungry," I said.
