Chapter 4 - The Revelation

I went back to them just as soon as I finished talking to Mr. Lopez, one of

the CEO of this company. Which also happens to be my uncle. Not by blood

actually. He's my father's best friend, Uncle Tony. He is also our guardian.

Since my parents's death four years ago, he took us with him and raised us

as his own. I will be forever grateful and in debt with him that I shall

follow his every wish even if it isn't always right. Like practically

dragging his bad boy son to work here just to teach him some lessons in

life.

I've never really gotten along well with Henry. He never talks to me and my

sister eversince we came. But we were civilized people. We just never

crossed paths until now. I can see that he doesnt want to be here. He doesnt

care about this company as I and Rach does. This is the only thing my father

has left for us. And I had worked my ass off just to be deserving.

"Guys, lets go. We will be late in the company meeting if we wont go now.

People will probably take the elevators so its best to take the stairs."

As we approach the main area on the 26th, I looked at the girl in the middle

of Ms. Agustin and Ms. Gomez, Joan. She seems familiar. Though I cant

remember where I've seen her before. She's probably the same age as

Rachelle.

Although Rachelle graduated almost 3 years ahead of her batch. That chit is

so intelligent and determined, she wanted to be part of this company in a

much earlier time.

She's actually doing fine, In a matter of 3 years, she has earned her

position as manager in one of the development's division. She's doing great

The six were seated in front 'cause they'll be introduced as this month's

new hires. I sat beside Rach in the other row.

"Have you met the new hires already?" She asked me curiously.

"Of course I did Rach, Im the head of the recruitment division. Im the one

who briefs them." I answered in a soft whisper. The speaker has already

"Im told, the president was actually the one who picked each of one in this

batch. Is it because Henry is part of it?" Rach asked again.

"Yes. Henry was there too. He seems to be very interested." I smirked at

"Oh come now! You must be joking. I know Henry doesnt like working in this

company as much as we like it here." She Chuckled.
