Chapter 8 - Helpless

Its Wednesday! This is the day. The Judgement day! The results of our

exercise for the third week will make or break us.

We all woke up early so that we'll be able to merge our solutions into one

super great bug-free software! I'm feeling all positive on this! I'm sure we

will all pass Mr. Doms's final exam. After all, we have worked together last

night.

We finished the merging before lunch. On the afternoon, each of us will be

having the final software and will perform the same tests we performed in

our individual codes yesterday. It is called System Testing.

After our testing, there were no signs of the original defects and the

software seems to be working properly already. We are ready to submit it to

Mr. Dom.

Its 4:00PM. We were all on time! Yahoo!

"As I will check your code modifications," Mr. DOm said after recieving the

final software, "Give me atleast an hour. I will give the results later and

some feedbacks. For those who will pass, the final project assignments will

be anounced tomorrow afternoon. And on friday, it will be a company Holiday.

So you all have a long weekend to prepare your first day of deployment on

Monday next week."

With that, He turned around and walked back to his computer.

"Uh, Mr. Dom?" Josh raised his hand and asked.

"What is it Mr. Aquino?"

"Do you mind if we take a break for an hour while you're checking our

work?" He smiled while asking.

Mr. Dom looked at him for a moment. Then said, "Sure, be back by 1 hour."

"Yes!" I heard James whispered!

"Lets go to the food lounge guys! Im hungry!" James shouted.

"You're always hungry James..." I said while rolling my eyes.

"C'mon Val, Don't be such a KJ! we've had a hell week! We need to treat

ourselves!"

"James is right! I do miss the pudding cook makes at the lounge!" Liz

exclaimed.

"Oh alright." I agreed. Cook does make delicious chocolate pudding for

desserts.

When we were on the lounge, I remembered I forgot my purse on my bag at the

27th.

"I'll just go get it guys. Hey James! Don't eat all the pudding okay?! Save

some for me!"

"It depends..." He smiled at me already halfway eating with his first

serving.

"Ugh! you pig. Hmft!" I marched out of the lounge while hearing James

laughter.

I got my purse and went to the elevator. I looked at the floor numbers.
