I knock on the large wooden doors and wait patiently for a reply. In no time though the door swung open and Dan peeked his head around it. His grim, tired looking face seemed to light up as soon as he saw me. He opened the door wider and stepped back.
“Ah, Scar, to what do I owe the pleasure.” He grins, his charming lopsided grin and waves me inside. I smile meekly as I walk through and turn to him.
“I’ assuming that Shane is at school?” I ask glancing up at him.
“You assume right.” He begins walking to the kitchen with me trailing behind. “Though for some reason I don’t think you here for me… Saddening…” I roll my eyes and grab out two bowls from a cabinet while he scours for frosted flake cereal and spoons.
“I already apologised for how I reacted to seeing you, get over it.” He nodded slyly as he poured milk into the bowls.
“What do you want then? Money? Gossip? A kiss?”
“Dan-.”
“Kisses?” I grab my bowl of cereal and glare at the boy in his black shirt and baggy jeans. “Okay no need to get defensive only kidding… Unless.”
“Tammy is here!” Dan stopped his laughing and instead looked at me as if I had eaten his pet turtle. “She came back with black hair and called herself Alyce.”
“When?”
“Yesterday.” I frowned as Dan stood up with anger in his eyes.
“Well thanks for the notice, always nice to be the last one to know!” I stood up and put a reassuring hand on his shoulder.
“Actually, I haven’t told anyone else.” His anger faded and is replaced by a smirk.
“Why did you tell me then? It’s cause you want me-“
“BE SERIOUS! For once in your life listen, the person who tormented, not just me but also you for six years is back, in time for the formal. And my guess is she plans to screw it up. So knock off the pain in the ass routine and help me help us.” I begged. He walks over to the coat rack and throws on a jacket.
“Well I better by a suit then.” He grinned. “Wouldn’t want you going to the formal alone would we?”
“I’m going with Shane.” He looked at me intently, with some hurt in his eyes.
“I’ve got a plan.”
Shanes POV
I walked out the front door of the school with Cynthia and Jake at my side, it’s fourth period and we each received a text from Dan to get outside and when he tells you to do something, you do it.
We reached the end of the car park and got into Dan’s limo.
“Way to be discreet.” I joked as I slammed the door closed.
“Well I borrowed this car for the prom tonight, may as well make use of it.” I frowned.
“Why don’t you just get us to pull up in our normal limo?” I asked.
“Long story.” A voice came from the front seat, Scarlett glances over it.
“Wait what are you doing here?” I asked more confused then ever.
“Tammy is here, and we have a plan.”
Sorry for such a short chapter! But I need to know... Scarlett and Shane? Or Scarlett and Dan? -MadlingXoX
