Scar's POV
Yesterday was the day I had dreaded, the day I pretended everything was okay, Tammy's arrival. She used to have long lucious blond hair, now she cut it all off and dyed it black with purple highlights. She joined in all the same classes as me, english, drama, art, math, history and even cooking, although it was fun to see her burn a batch of cookies.
I have been contemplating on wether to tell Shane she is here or not. She introduced herself as Alyce, the sweet girl from the country, moved here because her mum died and she had to stay with her dad. The group let her sit with us, of course they did, shes good looking, smart, evil okay so maybe not that last one had anything too do with it, but people were falling for her fakeness and somewhat pretty good acting skills.
I myself would have believed her if I didn't reconise those blood-thirsty eyes and wicked smile. I was too scared to say anything and she didn't give me a chance alone with Shane or Cynthia that whole day and today is the dayof the formal, after school of course. People are excited, and yes I include myself as people. Cynthia and I went shopping yesterday, we got pretty nice things, Cynthia got a red mini dress that flowed out at the bottom, I went with a light pink layered dress that tied up in a black bow at the back and had black lining on each layer.
Cynthia bought me some black, silver and pink ones to go with it, three pairs because she couldn't decide which ones she though looked better on me, I had insisted that she didn't buy them but she didn't even listen to me, instead she said these charming words.
"Naw come now darling, you already are living in the trailer from hell, this is the least I can do to make your commoner life a little more, well, less common."
I hadn't dignified that with a response, not that I would know how to respond.
"Scarlett, time to get to school. Scarlett?" I shoved a pillow over my head and ignored my fathers beconing. There's no, NO, way in hell I am going to that school with that evil Tammy lurking around. I heard my door swing open.
"Your not even dressed!?! Scar do I have to remind you that I have work, you need to go to school today. Get up. Get dressed. Get out!" My door slammed shut and I let out a complaining groan into my pillow. What a pep talk! Fine screw this whole, 'I'm too scared to go to school" shit, If Tammy wants to play a game. Then a game wwe shall play.
"Scarlett!"
"I'm getting up! Calm yourself." I rolled my eye's and jumped out of bed. This time I'm gonna win,

By the time I got to school the first bell had already rang so I bolted to my class. I had English with Mr Jamson, he was my favourite teacher by far, the youngest teacher, he could take a joke, he was into good music, but most of all he dosn't blink an eye if you rock up late. Half way through the lesson late.
I walked into my class and Mr Jamson just gave me a nod. I nodded back gestering 'hello'. I could see two free spots. One next to Shane and one next too Tammy. I took the one next to Tammy. She looked suprised as hell. Iset my books on the table and my bag on the ground.
"Hey Alyce, hope you don't mind my sitting next to you, I think we will be good friends, thats if you want to be." I say as innocently as possible.
"Yeah, that sounds great." She answers but I can see the confusion in her eye's.
"You look familier. Have we meet before?" I ask sounding as curious as I can. I saw her smile and I knew I tricked her.
"Well I come from over East my mother died so I moved here."
"Oh okay. I have been here for like ever.' I grinned.
"Really? When did you move here." I frowned at her question.
"I mean a I have been here forever literially, I was born here." I explained. Tammy looked as though she was trying to hide a smirk.
"Well that is good."
"Ladies I get that tonight is prom and your all so excited but could you please keep your gossip for lunch."
"Actually I was catching Alyce here up with the assiments we have done so she knows where we are up too." I reflected.
"Yes well as the teacher I should do that."
"Well you obvisoulsy haven't bothered otherwise Alyce here wouldn't need to ask me." The class let out some 'ooo's' and a round of laughs. Mr Jamson just rolled his eye's and turne the volume up on the movie we were watching 'freedom writers'. Tammy started giggling.
"You totes put him in his place lol." I grimaced at her choice of words. What language is this? Are people seriously becoming too slack to speak a proper sentence?
