Daniel watched as Carter and Nash went at it in Mortal Kombat. Both of them determined to beat Jay, and quite frankly, Daniel seemed to think they would give Jay a run for his money. He was sitting next to Taylor, who was talking to Matt about their next Magcon event in the hotel conference room.

"Daniel, you have to be in the next event." he said, ripping Daniel from his thoughts.

"What would I be doing?"

"Pretty much just doing skits with us, and making jokes and whatnot, the fans love that." Matt replied.

"Sounds good." Daniel said, before the suite door opened.

Jack walked in, alone for once as he waltzed over to the sofa. He greeted everyone and sat next to Daniel.

"Can I help you?" Daniel asked, annoyed at the way Jack was acting.

"I need to talk you," he replied, looking around the room, "Privately."

"I was just about to head to the balcony anyway." Daniel said, as he rose up from the couch and walked out towards the skyline view of Los Angeles.

He took out a cigarette and lit it up, inhaling his poison novacane. Jack grimaced at the fact that Daniel was smoking.

"Didn't anyone tell you smoking was bad for you?" Jack asked, as he folded his arms.

Daniel scoffed, "You're one to care."

"I do." Jack said, as he leaned over and took in the night sky. "I do care about you."

"Please save me the ignorance." Daniel said, as he took a drag from his medicine, "I've heard this all before."

"Heard all of what before?"

"People caring about me, and all that horse shit. The only person I have that actually meant it is Jay. He's the closest thing I have to family." Daniel said, "I know guys like you and what they do. They come into your life and walk all over you. Tell you they care, and rip the rug right from under you."

"You assume I'm that type of person?" Jack asked, his voice rising.

"It's the only thing I know."

"That's selfish, you understand right?" Jack replied, "To sit there and think everyone out there is the same."

"In this world, you have to live like everyone and their mother is out to get you." Daniel said, "You wouldn't know that. You have this fancy lifestyle where you never have to worry about people treating you like garbage."

"In case you didn't realize, I had a life before I became a singer." Jack retorted, his defensive side rising a bit, "You know nothing about me."

"I'm sure Mia does." Daniel said coldly.

"You know what?" Jack said, as he walked over to Daniel.

"What Jack?" Daniel replied, as they both got into each other's faces. "What are you gonna tell me?"

They both stayed that way for a while, and Jack instantly grabbed Daniel's face and placed his lips gently on the other boy's. They both moved in unison as they kissed passionately. Daniel moaned at the touch of Jack's lips on his.

Jack pulled away, "I know what I want."

"And what's that?" Daniel said, out of breath.

"I want you." Jack breathed, before grabbing Daniel's face and kissing him again. They both kissed passionately, as the nightlife of Los Angeles beamed its way around them.

This is what Daniel wanted, this is what he came to Los Angeles for; to find something worth never leaving. To find happiness, and bliss.

He found it in the form of Jack Gilinsky.
