Chapter 21

After a day of hard work attracting people to audition for The Next Step we finally got to the actual auditions.

LAMARS POV:

There are legit 65 people here, its crazy how many people are willing to pick up choreography in less than two weeks and then fly back to Toronto!

Kate, Phoebe, Chris and I all go to a spot to discuss everyone's performance and all of our A-Troupe members just sit and watch. We hired out an old studio to rehears and do the auditions...

"Alright everyone please gather around!" Chris yells.

Everyone crowds around us.

"Okay. Hi everyone my name is Lamar I am the dance captain of
The Next Step. And this is the wonderful Miss Kate the owner, Chris and Phoebe our head choreographers and the rest of A-Troupe," I say pointing over to A-Troupe. They all stop talking and wave and smile. They're basically draining anything they can out of Isaac because they are still REALLY puzzled on his weirdness and being related to Margie and... Lucien.

"Okay, here's how its going to work," Miss Kate says as she continues speaking. "You will each do solos which I assume yyou've already planned, adding your best moves will help you get to the next round," Miss Kate says as Phoebe continues.

"Then we will cut it to 40, then 20, then 10 and then two."

"Lets begin!!!" They say.

VICS POV:

This girl called Tessah is up first and she is AMAZING! I mean I can't really say that since no one else has gone yet. Soooo yeah. But sshe's really good, she can't do most styles like acro, contemporary, hip hop and jazz which is really good because she could do any routine really. I think she'll make the team, definitely! Too bad all the boys are taken, I think. Because this girl is hot!

MAX'S POV:

This is really going to take forever, its 12:30 and we still have 40 people to go! My favourite people so far are Casey, Brooklin, Tessah, Rhiannon, Brianna, Riley, Sam and Jack. They are all really cool and Riley, Sam and Jack would be really cool on the team because then more boys and more hip hop!!!

After about 3 hours Kate, Phoebe, Chris and Lamar go into the tiny office and discuss everything.

SAMS POV: (special)

I am really nervous waiting for the people to come out! I just wanna be on this team sooooo bad! It's the cheapest dance school there is apparently and I've heard they won regionals 2x nationals 2x and internationals 1x so yeah! If I don't make it I'll feel useless! But then again the Australian The Next Step sounds pretty good. There's one big reason I wanna be on the team. There's this really pretty girl, I think her names Jordan or Jerlong? Her long curly hair, its just amazing... Anyway I just really hope I get in. Lamar comes out and I go up to him maybe talking to him may help...

"Hey," I say.

"Uh, hi I'm Lamar um I ha-"

"Before you go I'm Sam and I really look forward to our friend ship and I just really hope I get in,"

"Yeah um that's great anyway I've gotta go get some food from Coles or somethin and it may take a whole so bye,"

Wow, he's not the nicest...

I walk over to a guy called Trevor, I've heard of him and thought I could talk to him get some advice.

"Heyy!" I say.

"Hey man wassup?"

"Oh nothing much just really nervous,"

"Yeah man I feel ya,"

"What if I don't get in,"

"Dude, don't even worry bout' it! Theres always B-Troupe,"

I never thought about that.

"Yeah thanks man!"

"No problem, uh what's your name?"

"Sam."

"Okay Sam, see ya around!"

I don't know exactly what see ya around means but I hope its good...
