{Sebastian's POV} -

The cellphone on the counter began to vibrate. Sebastian glanced at the omelet waiting to be eaten as he reached for the phone, shouting: "Bocchan! How many times do I have to tell you?! The foods getting cold!" He felt like a mother.
Looking down, he noticed the number on his phone was unfamiliar. He answered anyway. After confirming that he was in fact Sebastian Michealis to the man on the other end who claimed was a police officer, he was given the news of an accident that had occurred inside his former home. He frowned. "Someone was stupid enough to ignore the caution tape?" "Probably did it for some foolish reason like a dare. Poor kid. Only around 15 or 16." Sebastian's heart began to pound rapidly, imagining the worst as he recalled not getting an answer when he'd called Ciel to breakfast. "15 or 16? What did he look like?" He rushed into Ciels room just to make sure, finding it empty.
"Rather short. He had bluish hair and a distinguishing eyepatch over his right eye." Sebastian froze, wishing himself not to sound panicked or choked up over the phone. "Oh god." He said to himself, then, "Is he alright?" That was a stupid question.
There was a long, painful pause. "I'm afraid not." The man said finally.
Sebastian didn't need to ask any more questions. He shut off his phone and raced from the apartment. Neither he, nor Ciel had their own car, so he had to call up a taxi, wasting more valuable time. He clenched and unclenched his sweaty palms the entire drive there. When he got to the site, people were beginning to move away, the excitement over. Sebastian pushed past security officials and over curious bystanders to the heart of it all. Ciel was gone. He'd already been moved. A pool of blood lay on his place. Sebastian bit his lip, trying to fight back tears. "There's so much blood." He said to himself weakly.
Someone walked up behind him. It was a girl, dressed in uniform, but she seemed too young to be a paramedic. "It is a lot of blood." She said. "But that is expected from a wound to the head." Sebastian turned around, blinking. "Y-you are...?" The girl replied, "Dr. Annafellows." "Dr.?!" Sebastian looked at her, shocked. "Yeah. I graduated from medical school really early, and became a doctor when I was 18. That was two years ago." 'Two years ago... That means she's only three years older than me. That's not such a big gap, is it?' When he realized what he was thinking, me mentally scolded himself. 'What kind of boyfriend am I?! Ciels really hurt, and in the hospital, and I'm talking to a girl I don't even know!' He turned back to the girl, desperate to be by Ciel's side again. "Dr. Annafellows? I really need to see the boy who got injured. Can you take me to him?"

Sebastian managed to keep himself looking out the window as Dr. Annafellows brought him to the hospital. She lead him inside, exchanged a few words with one of the staff, then proceeded down the hall into an isolated room. She peeled behind a curtain than turned back to Sebastian. "He's already awake, which is a miracle, but when he hit his head, he damaged the occipital lobe in his brain. It may only be temporary, but right now, he can't see. He's also been paralyzed from the waist down." Sebastian stared at her, agape, her words only half processing in his head. He blinked, trying to clear his mind, then cautiously entered through the curtain. "Bocchan?" He asked quietly.
Ciel turned to face him, but his gaze was unfocused; far off, causing Sebastian to cringe and avoid looking him in the eye.
"Sebastian?" was Ciels response. He slowly reached out his hand. "Sebastian come here." Obliging, Sebastian took his boyfriends hand and squeezed, attempting to comfort himself. He felt like it was his fault. He needed to apologize for getting Ciel hurt; for having the place he'd gotten hurt be his old house; for being attracted to one of the doctors who were supposed to be helping Ciel, even if only for a split second. "I-I'm sorry, bocchan! I'm really sorry!" He knelt down beside the bed, holding the injured boy's hand tears running down his face. "Sebastian?" Ciel said again, "are you crying?" Instead of answering, he stood again, and pulled Ciel into a kiss. A deep one; a long one. He didn't care that the doctor was standing right behind them, and had seen everything.
