-Third Pony P.O.V.-

Applejack and Rainbow Dash sat on the couch in Rainbow's living room cuddling as they watched a movie. Applejack was ecstatic; she'd thought she'd lost her. Rainbow was just finally glad to have that off her chest. All of these years, knowing what had happened then. It was a relief.

Applejack was cuddling Rainbow Dash's side while Dash had her left arm(?) around her marefriend. The pair sat in silence throughout the whole movie. Barely daring to breathe as if they were afraid. Each of them super aware of the other.

When the movie finally ended, Rainbow stretched with a groan. "That was a long movie. How long have we been sitting here anyway?" The rainbow pegasus looked to the clock hanging above the television. "We've been sitting here for.. three hours?!? That's ridiculous!" Dash exclaimed.

Applejack rolled her eyes at Dashie with a smile on her face. Sometimes the mare was too much.

"Rainbow," Applejack said, "You've watched longer documentaries on flying."

"Well, yeah!" Rainbow dramatically said, "FLying is my life!"

Applejack just shook her head, chuckling. Rainbow groaned and got up. Heading towards the kitchen, Dash asked, "Want anything Applejack?"

Applejack got up and followed Rainbow. "I sure would."

Rainbow went straight to the fridge and began to look for something to make as Applejack went and sat down at the table. "Ya need any help there sugarcube?" Apples asked.

Dashie poked her head out of the fridge for a minute. "Nah, besides, you always do the cooking. It's my turn for a change." Dashie replied, up to the challenge.

"Ya can cook?" Apples asked, "Since when?"

"An athlete needs to have a nutritional diet in order to be able to perform to the best of their ability. Yeah, I can cook!" Dash replied haughtily. "Besides, I help Pinkie at the bakery all the time."

Applejack just sat there silently; not wanting to push her too much after everything that has happened recently. Yeah, it's gotten better for the couple but it was still hard for them to see Rarity. Both of them knew how she felt, but they didn't know what to do to help her. They weren't going to let it ruin the love they'd built together. The memories.

Rainbow Dash grabbed eggs, milk, orange juice, and lettuce. She closed the fridge door with her hoof and set all the ingredients on the counter next to the stove. Reaching into the cupboard underneath, Dash pulled out a skillet and put it on the stove; turning the dial to medium. Then, the mare grabbed a bowl and cracked three eggs into. She put a quarter of a cup of milk in with the eggs and scrambled them.

Dash grabbed a cheese grater and the lettuce and began to shred the lettuce. Once done, Dash put the shredded lettuce into the scrambled eggs. She checked the pan to see if it was hot. It was so Rainbow began to pour the mixture into the hot pan.

Applejack sat there watching Rainbow. She was honestly quite shocked that Dash knew how to cook so well. Yes, Applejack knew her fair share but it's main ingredient was always apples. Anything past that she didn't know.

Before she knew it, Applejack had a plate of steaming, scrambled eggs set down in front. It smelt so good her mouth watered. She awkwardly attempted to grab a fork but dropped it. Sighing, Applejack picked it up and laid it back down on the table.

"You know," Rainbow stated, "You can just eat, it's not like anypony here is going to freak out because you're not using a fork."

Applejack looked at Rainbow with her eyebrow raised. "What'd ya mean by that?"

"I just don't want you to feel like you have to be all 'proper' around me. Nothing changed Apples. Our relationship is a bit different now but that doesn't mean we have to change."

"Where'd that come from?" Apples asked, "You normally don't so sappy."

Rainbow  stopped talking and turned back to the counter to prepare her own food. Applejack looked down at the eggs with a pit in her stomach. Something was bothering Dashie.

"Dash," Applejack said softly, still looking at the plate. "Are ya alright? Ya know ya can tell me anything, don' cha?"

Rainbow stopped what she was doing but didn't turn around. "I guess I'm just worried. I know how Rarity feels about you, Applejack. I'm just worried, what if, what if she snaps or something? What'll we do then?" He voice began to get hysterical. "I've already almost lost you once. I don't want to lose you again."

Applejack had walked up to Dash as she was speaking. By the time Dash was done, she was by the pegasus' side. Using her hoof, Applejack turned Dash's face to her own. Tears were in the mare's eyes.

"Oh, Rainbow," Applejack said as she pulled the now sobbing mare into her arms. "Nothin's gunna happen."

"You can't promise that." Rainbow Dash claimed.

"Do ya know who yer talkin to? The Element of what? Honesty." Applejack says cocky, imitating Rainbow Dash trying to make her feel better about the scenario. The thing that Applejack didn't understand is why Rainbow would even think about Applejack leaving her for Rarity. There will always be one thing that Rarity can never have. Applejack's heart.

Rainbow Dash looked up into Applejack's eyes. The pair locked gazes, almost in a staring contest. Who will break first? The world may never know.

Finally, Rainbow looked to the ground. She felt tears form in her eyes There were so many possibilities running around in her brain. Going a rampage; knocking down everything in their path. A lump grew in her throat. Deep down, she knew that Applejack would never leave her, that she was just being paranoid.

But some little piece of her wasn't worried about what Applejack would do...

But of what Rarity would do....
