Chapter 2: Uh, What?

--Rainbow Dash POV--

Applejack and I went inside. It was quite big for only one pony. I was hoping that I'd soon be sharing it with somepony special. I looked at Applejack, she was admiring my cloud house. It had cost me quite a lot of bits.

"So Dashie, what do ya have in mind for tonight?" Applejack asked me. Her voice was as smooth as honey. It made me shiver.

"I was thinking we could just talk. I mean, we've known each other for awhile but we still don't know the deep things," I said t instantly regretted it. That was too girly for me.

"Ah didn't take ya for a pony to wanna talk about that kinda this," Applejack said trying to control her building laughter.

"Come on Applejack. If we are going to become a serious thing we have to know things about each other," I replied. A smile broke out across my face as a thought came into my head. AJ gave me a puzzled looked. Suddenly I pounced her, pinning her to the floor.

"What the hay Dash?!" AJ exclaimed. I shushed her with a kiss. It was amazing to kiss her without feeling like I have to watch my back. We still aren't sure how her family will react once we tell them. I pulled away and a knock came from the door. I raised an eyebrow and got off Applejack.

I went to the door and flung it open. Twilight was there. She had a look of 'so it's true' on her face.

"Well howdy Twi," Applejack said from behind me.

"Hey girls, how'd Applejack get up here?" Twi asked with a look of confusion.

"I flew her up here on my back," I stated with a smile. Twi looked at us.

"Can I come in? I have a serious question to ask you two," Twi asked us. My stomach dropped. If she knew she might've told somepony about Applejack and I. I let her in and we all went to the living room.

"So what is it sugar cube?" Applejack asked. It wasn't directed towards me but whenever she says sugar cube in her cute country accent it makes my heart flutter.

"Oh, right. I was wondering. Are you two..?" Twi left the question hanging. She did know. I was feeling panicked. I looked at Applejack, she looked stunned. I wanted to wrap my wing around her to make her feel better but I couldn't.

--Applejack POV--

She knew, but how? I almost stopped breathing. My head was spinning. I looked at Twi who was waiting for an answer.

"Yes..." I said, my honesty getting the best of me. A smile broke out across Twi's face.

"I'm so happy for you! I knew this would happen. What about your family?" Twi asked suddenly serious. I shrugged. If I told I'd probably get disowned. Maybe not. I didn't know.
