Quick note, I'm gonna stop putting POV, you guys get the idea anyway 😉. You'll catch on.

Hayes:

I walk into the main doors and through two hallways to get to Sam's locker, which is right by the cafeteria.

There she is. Of course, looking down at her phone.
Perfect Sam.

I smile as I approach her. "Hi"
"Hey"
"Sooooooo?"
"I don't know if yesterday...." She starts, but trails off, trying to find her words.

Everyone in school knows we're friends. I know for a fact her friends want me and her together, I mean they act like we're still 13 for Gods sake. Two of them are always talking to me in chemistry and always ask when Sam and I are gonna "become official already". It's pretty annoying. I hear freshman whisper and some even try to "low key" watch from afar. What's the deal? It's like nobody has ever seen me talk to a girl before.
"Hellooooo??!" Sam snaps her fingers at me.
When I snap out of my thoughts she rolls her eyes. "Really Hayes? Did you hear anything I just said?"
I look down.
"Look Hayes if yesterday was a mistake just let me know so I'm not wasting my -"
I can't help it. She's cute even when she's mad at me. It's like I can't control my body. I take my hands and hold her face in them, and lean in, silencing her scolding me.

I hear quiet gasps and faint whispers of "Oh. My. God." and "no way." A lot.
As I pull back Sam is closer to me know, her cheeks rosy red and her gray eyes gleaming as she smiles.
"Well, that answers all my questions." She says.
I look at her, trying to figure out what she means and I think she catches on.
"You forgot to ask..." She laughs.
Oh. My. God.
All of that yesterday and I didn't even ask her "will be my girlfriend"
I let out an embarrassed laugh.
I take her hands in mine and lock eyes with her.
"Yes" she whispers.
I pulled her into a hug.

The bell rang, and we departed from each other.

Sam ~

I only have one class with Hayes. 7th period. Thank god it's at the end of the day. As 6th period ends, and I'm just about to my 7th period, I see Hayes, waiting outside the door.
"Hey there gorgeous" he smiles as he hugs me.
"Hi" I giggle.
Whispers and mumbles pass us as people walk into the classroom.
Hayes shrugs. "They're just jealous you've got a smokin hot boyfriend"
I roll my eyes and laugh. "Duh"

Hayes sits 4 seats away from me. Biology isn't exactly his favorite subject either, and he loves to give the teacher a hard time.
I hear his loud laugh from the other side of the room, and I look to see what he's laughing at.
The teacher was busy talking to someone at the front so Hayes and one of his best friends, who happens to sit right behind him, are taking snapchats of our teacher.

My phone buzzes with 3 snapchats from Hayes. I shoot him a look and he laughs even more.

I look down at my phone, as I placed thumb over to unlock it, one of my friends, Cassidy, who sits at the table next to me leans over.
"So" she smirks, "I saw you talking to Hayes outside"
As Hayes' name leave Cassidy's lips, Jasmine, a girl who I met at swim last year, whips around.
"Aww! I saw too! What's up with you guys!?" She asks excitedly.

"Well, we hung out over the weeken-" I begin, but Mr. Carlson interrupts, and the whole class goes silent immediately.

Hayes ~

Since its one of those Mondays where Mr. Carlson doesn't wanna do anything, he has a CD playing, reading whatever chapter we were on to us.
Mr. Carlson was sitting at his desk typing away at his computer, so I take my phone out again, and take a snapchat of Sam, who's obviously paying attention and taking notes as she follows along with reading.

I see her check her phone and open the snapchat that said
"When you can't pay attention bc your girl is too perfect"
She blushes and rolls her eyes.

There's this crazy smart freshman that sits behind me, Evan. He sits next to one of my best friends, Christian, and he's always had this "little crush" on Sam. We haven't even been in school for that long, so me and Christian always mess around with him about Sam. Evan plays football too, pretty sure he's the runningback on the freshman team. Him and Christian are always smack talking with each other since Christian's a runningback too. I mean, this kid Evan is good at sports and he's smart. I envy him, this kid is definitely going places.

" Aye Hayes" he taps my shoulder.
"My girl lookin pretty fire today huh" he smirks as he nods his head towards Sam.

I roll my eyes and turn back around.
"Yeah man she sure does." I mumble, annoyed.
