I put the pup on my shoulder and grabbed my skateboard and walked back home. For some reason I could understand the wolf pup when it talks. Well no not really talk but when he howls I can hear him speak in my mind. I still don't understand it either we were both surprised . I walked in almost complete silence halfway home until I heard almost a child voice saying "I'm hungry". I looked around but there was no one there. I shrugged it off thinking I was imagining things again. But there was the voice again." I'm hungry" I looked at the pup on my shoulder. " was that you?" I ask half not expecting an answer. To my surprise the pup nodded and replied" yes and I'm hungry. "
I was dumbfounded, " how is this even possible?" I ask. The pup just walked to the other side of my shoulder and gently nipped my ear. I chuckled slightly. " we're almost home ok can you hold out for a little longer?" I asked as he settled on my shoulder. I smiled and continued walking. " by the way what do you even eat?" I asked him curiously. " meat. " he said with a yawn. I guess he's tired I said to myself. I reached my house and poked the pup gently. " welcome home little guy" I said as I opened the door. He looked up excited and scanned the room. I held out my hand and he crawled to my palm as I placed him down gently. He sniffed around excitedly. " I can really stay here?" He asked happily. "Yup and let me show you where your going to be sleeping at ok. " I said walking upstairs to my room. I opened the door and showed him inside. " this is my room you can stay with me if you want to. "
I said as he yelped happily and hopped on my bed and started to jump up and down. I chuckled to myself and Bryce walked in. " hey jay didn't know you were home." He said " yea just got back "I replied. " what took you so long-" he didn't get to finish because at that moment the wolf pup pounced on his head. " what the -HOLYSHIIIIIIIT! AAAAAHHHHH" Bryce screamed and ran to the corner away from the pup. Then me and the pup busted out laughing. " DUDE ITS JUST A BABY. Lol" I said grinning hard as the pup curled up on my bed and looked at me. I walked over to him and put out my fist. " you my friend. Your my little nightmare." He smiled and tapped my fist with his paw.
